He is a former director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi and an authority on forensic medicine. Dogra been member of the Medical Council of India from December 2013 till its dissolution in September 2018. Dogra have been President of National Medicos Organisation Delhi State from 2012 to 2017. Dogra was member of TEQ-Equivalence Committee and Administration and Grievance committee of Medical Council of India. He was member of Advisory committee on MOOC's program of University Grants Commission of India New Delhi. Dogra was emeritus professor of forensic medicine and forensic sciences, professor of Andragogy and educational philosophy and Advidsor, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at SGT University Gurgaon till January 2022. Prof. T D Dogra is member of Rehablitation Council of India.
Indian Defence University (IDU), formerly Indian National Defence University (INDU) is a defence service university set up for the affiliation of training academies of union government defence servants working under the Government of India. These union government defence servants can collectively be termed as generalist branch and specialist branch of the Indian Military. It is not to be confused with the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) which is focused on the police and para-military Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), whereas IDU is focused on the military. It is located at Binola village in Gurugram district of Haryana state in India that is being built. It is proposed to be one of the Institutes of National Importance (INIs).
National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), formerly Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU), is a government international university in the capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, and an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India as recognised by an act of the Indian Parliament. It is solely dedicated to forensic and investigative science.
The Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems, abbreviated to CCTNS, is a project under the Indian government for creating a comprehensive and integrated system for effective policing through e-Governance. The system includes a nationwide online tracking system by integrating more than 14,000 police stations across the country. The project is implemented by National Crime Records Bureau.
Lalji Singh FNA, FASc was an Indian scientist who worked in the field of DNA fingerprinting technology in India, where he was popularly known as the "Father of Indian DNA fingerprinting". Singh also worked in the areas of molecular basis of sex determination, wildlife conservation forensics and evolution and migration of humans. In 2004, he received the Padma Shri in recognition of his contribution to Indian science and technology.
National Forensic Science University, Delhi is the Delhi Campus of the National Forensic Sciences University and an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA), Government of India as recognised by an act of the Parliament of India. It is one of the Central Police Organization(CPO) of the country. It specializes in teaching criminology, cybersecurity, digital forensics and forensic science and is located in New Delhi, India. The institute was established by Government of India in 1972 within the Bureau of Police Research and Development following recommendations of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
