Malikwal (Urdu : تحصیل ملکوال) is a tehsil located in Mandi Bahauddin District, Punjab, Pakistan. The city of Malikwal is the headquarters of the tehsil, which is administratively subdivided into 17 Union Councils. [2]

It is an area of land with a city or town that serves as its administrative centre, with possible additional towns, and usually a number of villages.
