Deitz was an unincorporated community in Fayette County, West Virginia.

The Corey and Jay Show is a terrestrial radio program co-hosted by Corey Deitz and Jay Hamilton. It was based in Little Rock, Arkansas on 100.3 The Edge, and aired live from 6:00 am to 10:00 am Central, it also aired for about 15 years on various other stations in Little Rock, as well as in Cleveland, St. Louis, and Chicago. While the show was broadcast from WRVQ-FM in Richmond, it was awarded "Best Morning Show in Virginia" by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters two years in a row. In Little Rock, Corey and Jay were awarded "Best Radio Personalities" by Little Rock Monthly magazine in 2003. In 2008, Corey and Jay were announced by the National Association of Broadcasters as finalists for an NAB Marconi Radio Award - Medium Market Personality of the Year. Jay was replaced by longtime special guest "Angry Patrick", and the show's name changed to The Corey and Patrick Show.

Deitz Farm, also known as General Robert E. Lee Headquarters, is a national historic district located near Meadow Bluff, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The house was built about 1840, and is a two-story side gabled red brick residence in the Greek Revival style. It features a three bay, one-story wooden porch across the front of the house. Also on the property are two contributing wooden outbuildings and earthworks associated with the property's role as General Robert E. Lee Headquarters during the American Civil War.
Alonzo Edward Deitz was an American lock manufacturer who founded the A. E. Deitz lock company in Brooklyn, New York in 1861. Deitz held two patents for innovative locks with a distinctive pin tumbler arrangement parallel to the longitudinal axis of the key. His steam-powered factory with 60 employees was established at Clymer Street in Brooklyn, adjacent to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Hundreds of different models were available in published catalogs, including padlocks and locks for doors and drawers. Deitz locks were exported worldwide during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
