Grayden is an unincorporated community in Fayette County, West Virginia, United States. It was also known as Free Union.

The community was named for the local Graydon family. [2]

Belva is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in west Nicholas County and north Fayette County, West Virginia, United States; while the CDP only includes the Nicholas County portion, the Fayette County portion is considered part of the community. William Leonard Grayden is an Australian former politician. He was a member of parliament across six decades, serving in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly and the Australian House of Representatives (1949–1954). A World War II veteran, he served as a Liberal with the exception of a brief period as an independent. Grayden was a backbencher in federal parliament, but later held ministerial office in the state government of Charles Court. His brother David and grandfather Nat Harper were also members of parliament.
