The South East Asian Games is a biennial event which began in 1959 known as the Southeast Asian Peninsular Games. Athletics has been one of the sports held at the Games since the inaugural edition. Records are maintained by the Southeast Asian Games Federation and set by athletes who are representing one of the 11 countries of Southeast Asia.

The Vietnam women's national football team is a women's senior football team representing Vietnam and controlled by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The team's nickname is the Golden Star Women Warriors.
Swimming at the 2013 SEA Games took place at the Wunna Theikdi Aquatics Centre, Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 12 to 16 December 2013. This Aquatics discipline had 32 long course events: 16 for males and 16 for females.
The Women's 400 metre freestyle event at the 2013 SEA Games took place on 13 December 2013 at Wunna Theikdi Aquatics Centre.
The 2021 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 31st Southeast Asian Games, 31st SEA Games or SEA Games 31, and also recognized as Viet Nam 2021, was the 31st edition of the Southeast Asian Games, the biennial regional multi-sport event which was held in Hanoi, Vietnam and its surrounding cities from 12 to 23 May 2022.
Đỗ Hùng Dũng is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as an midfielder for V.League 1 club Hà Nội and captains the Vietnam national team.
