The National Women's Hall of Fame (NWHF) is an American institution incorporated in 1969 by a group of men and women in Seneca Falls, New York, although it did not induct its first enshrinees until 1973. As of 2021, it had 303 inductees.

The Lannan Literary Awards are a series of awards and literary fellowships given out in various fields by the Lannan Foundation. Established in 1989, the awards are meant "to honor both established and emerging writers whose work is of exceptional quality", according to the foundation. The foundation's awards are lucrative relative to most awards in literature: the 2006 awards for poetry, fiction and nonfiction each came with $150,000, making them among the richest literary prizes in the world.
The Vagliano Trophy is a biennial women's amateur golf tournament. It is played in odd-numbered years; the Curtis Cup being played in even-numbered years.

The film stars Mary Ware, Rick Vallin, Addison Richards, Ray Walker, Marie Harmon and Caren Marsh. The film was released on August 15, 1945, by Producers Releasing Corporation.
Miss World America 1978 was the 1st edition of the Miss World America pageant and it was held in Von Barun Civic Center in Huntsville, Alabama and was won by Debra Jean Freeze of North Carolina. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Cindy Darlene Miller of Virginia. Freeze went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1978 Pageant in London later that year. She finished in the Top 15 at Miss World.
Miss World USA 1967 was the 6th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held at the Baltimore Civic Center in Baltimore, Maryland and was won by Pamela Valari Pall of California. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Denice Estelle Blair of Utah. Pall went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1967 Pageant in London later that year. She finished in the Top 15 at Miss World.
The Women's Home Internationals were an amateur team golf championship for women contested between the four Home Nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, where Ireland was represented by the whole island of Ireland on an All-Ireland basis. After the Ladies' Golf Union, the former governing body for women's golf in Great Britain and Ireland, merged into The R&A in 2016, The R&A took over organisation of the event. The match was played annually and the venue cycled between the four nations. In 2022 the match was replaced by a combined Women's and Men's Home Internationals.
