The company manufactures outlandish products that fail or backfire catastrophically at the worst possible times. The name is also used as a generic title in many cartoons, especially those made by Warner Bros. and films, TV series, commercials and comic strips.

Jewelpet is a Japanese media franchise and toy line created in 2008 as a joint venture between Sanrio and Sega Toys, produced by the third character designer of Hello Kitty, Yuko Yamaguchi and illustrated by the character designer of Cinnamoroll, Miyuki Okumura. Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess is a 2012 Japanese animated fantasy comedy film based on the Jewelpet series by Sanrio and Sega. Sweets Dance Princess features an original story set in an alternate universe from the Jewelpet franchise. The film was directed by Hiroaki Sakurai and written by Takashi Yamada. The film was released in Japan on August 11, 2012. DVD and Blu-ray versions of the film were released by Toho on January 25, 2013.

Coyote vs. Acme is an unreleased American live-action/animated legal comedy film directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch, based on a story by Burch, James Gunn and Jeremy Slater. The film is based on the 1990 magazine article "Coyote v. Acme", published in The New Yorker by Ian Frazier, which itself is based on the cartoon character Wile E. Coyote and the Acme Corporation from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. The cast includes John Cena, Will Forte, Lana Condor, P.J. Byrne, Tone Bell, Martha Kelly, and the voice of Eric Bauza.
Kukuriraige: Sanxingdui Fantasy is an unreleased Chinese-Japanese animated steampunk fantasy film directed by Fumikazu Satou. It would have been the first feature film produced by anime veteran Hiroshi Negishi's Zero-G animation studio, with that status being taken by their film adaptation of the manga series Break of Dawn. It was originally set to be released by AEON Entertainment on February 7, 2020, but due to production issues, the film has been removed from the 2020 release schedule. Jewelpet Attack Travel!, a short film based on Sanrio's Jewelpet franchise and directed by Negishi for Ashi Productions, was set to be attached to it; and was later rescheduled for release as an original net animation on May 14, 2022, in a livestream on Niconico Live. During that livestream, it was confirmed that the film would not be released at any point in the foreseeable future.
Jewelpet Attack Travel! is a 2022 Japanese animated fantasy comedy film directed by Hiroshi Negishi and produced by Ashi Productions. It premiered on the internet streaming site Niconico on 14 May 2022. Attack Travel! is the first anime project in the Jewelpet franchise in seven years; originally meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise being adapted for television.
