The 1998 United States Senate election in New Hampshire took place on November 3, 1998. Incumbent Republican Senator Judd Gregg ran for re-election. He won the Republican primary in a landslide over challenger Phil Weber, a State Representative, and faced George Condodemetraky, the Democratic nominee, and a Belmont Selectman, in the general election. Gregg ultimately defeated Condodemetraky by a wide margin, winning his second term with 68 percent of the vote and winning every county, despite incumbent Democratic Governor Jeanne Shaheen concurrently winning re-election with more than 66% of the vote and every county as well.
