History

Doon Business School [3] was founded by Mr. S.K. Aggarwal in 2008. the first trustee of Eskay Educational Trust [4] and offered MBA and PGDM program. In subsequent years, the institute also started BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA (Hons.) in Journalism, B.Sc Agriculture/Forestry programs at the Undergraduate level and MA in Mass Communication at the Post Graduate level.

Affiliations

The Institute is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), [5] and Approved by the AICTE for its MBA and PGDM program. Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University for its BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA (Hons). In Journalism and MA in Mass Communication programs and Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University for its B.Sc Agriculture/Forestry Program.

Admission to the UG program is based on the combined merit of academic records and interviews.

Admissions in the Postgraduate Management programs are on the basis of the merit of CAT [10] /XAT/CMAT/ MAT/GMAT scores, graduation marks, and group discussion and personal interview thereafter.

Doon Business School [11] [12] is situated on the Dehradun–Chakrata Road (NH-72) in Selaqui, in the District of Dehradun, Uttarakhand [13] . [14] The campus is 18 kms from the Dehradun Railway Station and 46 kms from the Jolly Grant Airport,Dehradun.
