ITV Quiz is a British free-to-air television channel owned by ITV Digital Channels, a division of ITV plc. The channel was first announced on 16 April 2025 and launched on 9 June 2025, replacing ITVBe. The channel primarily airs reruns of game shows produced for ITV.
On 16 April 2025, ITV announced that ITVBe would be replaced with a new game show –oriented channel known as ITV Quiz; ITVBe's programming would be moved to ITV2 and ITVX. [1] [2] [3] The new channel's schedule would primarily be focused on reruns of ITV game shows; it had been reported that game show channels were among the most popular free ad–supported streaming television (FAST) channels on ITVX. [4]
The channel is unrelated to the short-lived ITV Play channel, which focused exclusively on phone-in shows using premium-rate calls, and shut down amid scandals surrounding such programmes. [5]
ITV Quiz launched on 9 June 2025, replacing ITVBe in its channel slots; its launch lineup would feature recent ITV game shows such as Stephen Mulhern's Deal or No Deal , Lingo , Tenable , Tipping Point , Graham Norton's Wheel of Fortune , and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? [6] The new channel competes primarily with Sky's Freeview channel Challenge, which itself carries runs of some of ITV's game shows (such as The Chase ). [6]
This is a list of programmes airing on ITV Quiz as of launch. [6]
