This is a list of diplomatic missions in India. There are 156 embassies/high commissions in New Delhi, and many countries maintain consulates in other Indian cities.
Most of these diplomatic missions in Delhi are located in Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave. In January 2017, the Union Council of Ministers approved Dwarka Sector 24 to be a second Diplomatic Enclave [1] [2] for 39 countries on 34.87 ha (86.2 acres) of area, [3] after Chanakyapuri. [4] [5] [6]

The Embassy of the United States of America in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of the United States in the Republic of India. The Embassy is headed by the U.S. Ambassador to India. The embassy complex is situated on a 28-acre plot of land in Chanakyapuri, the diplomatic enclave of New Delhi, where most of the embassies are located. The embassy is also accredited to Bhutan with whom the United States maintains no formal relations.
Embassy of the People's Republic of China in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of the People's Republic of China to India. It is located at 50-D, Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, in New Delhi. The embassy also operates Consulates-General in Kolkata and Mumbai while the Consulate in Chennai is under construction. As of 2023, the chargé d'affaires at the embassy is Ma Jia.
TZ will continue to enhance diplomacy through the introduction of a new embassy in Vietnam and a consulate in Mumbai, India.
