On June 19, 1910, governor Jared Y. Sanders passed Act No. 61, House Bill No. 24, ordering that all executions were to take place at the state prison in Baton Rouge. Hugh Connerly was the first person to be hanged at the state prison under this new law. The law was repealed in 1918, the last hanging at Baton Rouge being that of Jim Bell and Preston Miles, [137] and executions returned to local settings until 1957 (see Electrocution). [138]

On August 6, 1941, Louisiana's official execution method was changed from hanging to electrocution. Rather than establishing a single execution chamber, the state's electric chair was moved as needed to different parishes and executions continued to be performed by local authorities until May 21, 1957, when the chair was moved to a designated execution chamber at Angola Penitentiary. [191]
Many electrocutions that took place between 1941 and 1957 are poorly documented, as they were largely handled by local authorities outside of the signing of death warrants by the state governor, with state records often mentioning little more than the defendant's name, crime, parish, and date of execution. Apache Flink is an open-source, unified stream-processing and batch-processing framework developed by the Apache Software Foundation. The core of Apache Flink is a distributed streaming data-flow engine written in Java and Scala. Flink executes arbitrary dataflow programs in a data-parallel and pipelined manner. Flink's pipelined runtime system enables the execution of bulk/batch and stream processing programs. Furthermore, Flink's runtime supports the execution of iterative algorithms natively.
Spectre is one of the two original speculative execution CPU vulnerabilities, which involve microarchitectural side-channel attacks. These affect modern microprocessors that perform branch prediction and other forms of speculation. On most processors, the speculative execution resulting from a branch misprediction may leave observable side effects that may reveal private data to attackers. For example, if the pattern of memory accesses performed by such speculative execution depends on private data, the resulting state of the data cache constitutes a side channel through which an attacker may be able to extract information about the private data using a timing attack.
