Lynnview is a home rule-class city in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 914 at the 2010 census. [3]
Lynnview is located slightly west of the geographic center of Jefferson County. It is 6 miles (10 km) south of downtown Louisville. Kentucky Route 61 (Preston Highway) forms the western border of the community. Exit 130 on Interstate 65 is just west of the Lynnview limits.

The racial makeup of the city was 98.03% White, 0.52% African American, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.21% from other races, and 1.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.73% of the population.
There were 435 households, out of which 27.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.6% were married couples living together, 14.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.4% were non-families. 31.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 2.76.
In the city, the population was spread out, with 21.6% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 23.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
