China International Aviation &Aerospace Exhibition (Chinese :中国国际航空航天博览会),also known as the Airshow China (Chinese :中国航展) or Zhuhai Airshow (Chinese :珠海航展),is the largest airshow and aerospace trade expo in China. It has been held in even years in Zhuhai,Guangdong since 1996. [2]

The seventh Airshow China was held from 4 to 9 November 2008. Some 4 billion U.S. dollars worth of deals were signed at the six-day event,including one involving Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC) selling 25 ARJ21-700 regional jets to GE Commercial Aviation Services of the United States (first delivery by 2013). Additionally,the Chengdu J-10 and Xi'an JH-7A both made their first public appearances. [9] Other performances included:

Originally scheduled to happen in 2020,it was postponed to the following year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The thirteenth Airshow China was held from 28 September to 3 October 2021. Aerobatics is the practice of flying maneuvers involving aircraft attitudes that are not used in conventional passenger-carrying flights. The term is a portmanteau of "aeroplane" and "acrobatics". Aerobatics are performed in aeroplanes and gliders for training,recreation,entertainment,and sport. Additionally,some helicopters,such as the MBB Bo 105,are capable of limited aerobatic manoeuvres. An example of a fully aerobatic helicopter,capable of performing loops and rolls,is the Westland Lynx.
KLM Cityhopper is the regional airline subsidiary of KLM,headquartered in Haarlemmermeer,North Holland,Netherlands. It is based at nearby Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. As a subsidiary of Air France–KLM,it is an affiliate of SkyTeam. The airline operates scheduled European feeder services on behalf of KLM.
Surya Kiran is an aerobatics demonstration team of the Indian Air Force. The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) was formed in 1996 and are a part of the 52nd Squadron of the IAF. The team has since performed numerous demonstrations usually with nine aircraft. The squadron was composed of the HAL HJT-16 Kiran Mk.2 military trainer aircraft till 2011 and were based at the Bidar Air Force Station in Karnataka. The team was suspended in February 2011 and was re-established with Hawk Mk-132 aircraft in 2015.
The Embraer E-Jet family is a series of four-abreast,narrow-body,short- to medium-range,twin-engined jet airliners designed and produced by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer.
The Chengdu J-10 Vigorous Dragon,is a medium-weight,single-engine,multirole combat aircraft capable of all-weather operations,configured with a delta wing and canard design,with fly-by-wire flight controls,and produced by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) for the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF),Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and People's Liberation Army Naval Air Force (PLANAF). The J-10 is mainly designed for air-to-air combat,but can also perform strike missions.
Warbirds over Wanaka is a biennial air show in Wānaka,held on the Easter weekend of even-numbered years since 1988. It is held at Wānaka Airport,10 km south-east of Wānaka,in the southern South Island of New Zealand. Initially conceived by New Zealand live deer recovery pioneer,Sir Tim Wallis,as a show for him to display his collection of World War II aircraft,the event has grown into a major institution. Roads are closed and traffic is detoured around the area during the weekend. Hotels,motels and backpackers around Wānaka are usually booked well in advance. Accommodation is impossible to find if one does not have a booking.
The August 1st or Ba Yi Aerobatics Team is the aerobatic demonstration team of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). It was founded in 1962 and named after the date of founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA),August 1,1927.
Helvetic Airways,previously named Odette Airways,is a Swiss regional airline headquartered in Kloten with its fleet stationed at Zurich Airport. Sean Doherty Tucker is an American world champion aerobatic aviator. He was previously sponsored by the Oracle Corporation for many years,performing in air shows worldwide as "Team Oracle". Tucker has won numerous air show championship competitions throughout his career,was named one of the 25 "Living Legends of Flight" by the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in 2003,and was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 2008. He has led several efforts to assist youth in learning to fly or becoming involved in general aviation,and currently serves as co-chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)'s Young Eagles program,a role he has held since 2013.
Charlie Hillard was an American aerobatics pilot,and the first American to win the world aerobatics title.
The Guizhou WZ-7 Soaring Dragon is a high-altitude long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the People's Republic of China. The aircraft features a unique joined-wing design.
The Shenyang FC-31Gyrfalcon,also known as the J-31 or J-35,is a Chinese prototype mid-sized twinjet 5th-generation fighter aircraft developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC). The official nickname published by SAC is "Gyrfalcon",though it has also been referred to as the "F-60" or "J-21 Snowy Owl" in some media reports,or "Falcon Hawk" by some military enthusiasts. J-XX nomenclatures in the Chinese military are reserved for programs launched and financed by the People's Liberation Army,while the FC-31 plane was developed independently as a private venture by the aircraft manufacturer.

CBJ800 “Pegasus”,which stands for Chinese Business Jet 800,is a business jet developed by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group,with collaboration of Shenyang Aircraft Corporation,Hongdu Aviation Industry Group,AVIC International and Chengdu Industry Investment Corporation. The model was first shown in Zhuhai Airshow 2012 and it was called Chinese Next Generation Business Jet at that time. In Chengdu International Business and General Aviation Exhibition of 2015,the newly showed model was painted with the formal name of CBJ800. According to the report from the meeting,the project will formally be started in 2016,and jet will be pushed to the market in 7-8 years.
The Wing Loong-10 is a series of unmanned aerial vehicles of the High-Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) type,featuring some stealth characteristics. As of 2017,it is being developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group for reconnaissance and precision strike missions.
The PL-15 is an active radar-guided long-range air-to-air missile developed by the People's Republic of China.
The Chengdu GJ-2, also known as Wing Loong 2,is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group in the People's Republic of China. Intended for use as a surveillance and aerial reconnaissance and precision strike platform,Chengdu unveiled the concept of Wing Loong II at the Aviation Expo China in Beijing in September 2015. Wing Loong II has long range strike capability with a satellite link.
The Chengdu Wing Loong-3 is a Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial combat vehicle (UCAV),developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group in the People's Republic of China. Intended for use as a multi-purpose platform,including anti-air,anti-submarine warfare (ASW),ground strike,maritime strike,search and rescue,and surveillance and aerial reconnaissance capabilities which can fly a maximum range of 10,000 km at medium altitude with a maximum take-off weight of 6,200 kg. Wing Loong-3 is by far the largest and first air-to-air capable model of the Wing Loong family
