Below is the list of current satellite television channels in Kannada language, a Dravidian language widely spoken in the South Indian state of Karnataka. Apart from those in the below list, many other Kannada channels exist that are limited to certain cities or districts, run by local cable TV operators.

Zee TV is an Indian Hindi language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. It was launched on 1 October 1992 as the oldest privately owned Television channel in India. The defunct and unsuccessful Asia Television Network started earlier.

Raj Music Kannada is a 24-hour music channel presented by Chennai-based Raj Television Network in Karnataka. This is the third Music channel for Karnataka. The channel went on air on 6 March 2009. Raj TV has tied up with MQ Networks Pvt. Ltd., a professionally managed multi media company for exclusively handling the Raj Music Karnataka operations in Karnataka. The channel became inactive and dull after a few months. However the channel was re-launched by the network on 14 February 2011. The channel was renamed as Raj Music Karnataka from Raj Musix Kannada along with the change in logo.

Janasri News was a 24x7 Kannada news and infotainment television channel that was launched on February 18, 2011 with the tagline “Jana Mana Dani” which means “Voice of the people”. The channel was owned by Yash Broadcasting Industries Pvt Ltd. which was promoted by Karnataka Politicians Janardhana Reddy and Sriramulu.
