    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam SEED</i> Anime series and spinoffs

    Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is an anime series developed by Sunrise and directed by Mitsuo Fukuda. The ninth installment in the Gundam franchise, Gundam SEED takes place in a future calendar era, in this case the Cosmic Era. In this era, mankind has developed into two subspecies: Naturals, who reside on Earth, and Coordinators, genetically enhanced humans capable of amazing feats of intellect who emigrate to man-made orbital colonies to escape persecution by natural humans. The story revolves around a young Coordinator Kira Yamato who becomes involved in the war between the two races after a third, neutral faction's space colony is invaded by the Coordinators.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket</i> Japanese OVA series

    Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket is a six episode 1989 Japanese science fiction original video animation series. It is the first OVA series in the Gundam franchise. It was directed by Fumihiko Takayama, written by Hiroyuki Yamaga with character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto.

    Nihon Ad Systems, Inc., NAS for short, is a Japanese anime production and character merchandising company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the advertising agency Asatsu-DK. The "Ad" in its title is an abbreviation for "Animation Development". Along with Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, Bandai Namco Filmworks, Toei Animation and TMS Entertainment, it is a co-founder and shareholder of the Japanese anime television network Animax. It has its headquarters in Toranomon Hills, Minato, Tokyo.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray</i> Japanese manga series

    Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray is a collection of gaiden (side-stories) set in the Cosmic Era timeline of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. The story was told in three different mediums, as a manga in Gundam ACE, a photo novel in Dengeki Hobby and two novels published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd. The series started in November 2004 and ended in April 2006 after 21 chapters. It was followed up by Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Δ Astray, which also tied into Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer.

    <i>Mobile Suit SD Gundam</i> Original video animation

    Mobile Suit SD Gundam is a series of animated shorts released in theaters and as original video animation between 1988 and 1993 by Sunrise. Part of the SD Gundam media franchise, the anime was based on the popular Gashapon capsule toys and model kits being released by Bandai at the time.

    Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. is a third person arcade game based on the Gundam Seed franchise. It was developed in 2005 by Capcom and published by Banpresto, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games in Japan. Similarly to Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, the player can choose to ally themselves with either O.M.N.I., Z.A.F.T. or Blue Cosmos and fight against the other factions. The Arcade Mode has 9 stages plus a bonus Extra Stage.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam École du Ciel</i> Japanese manga series

    Mobile Suit Gundam École du Ciel is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruhiko Mikimoto. Officially part of Sunrise's long running Gundam franchise, the manga was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Gundam Ace from 2001 to 2011 and was compiled into twelve tankōbon volumes. It was licensed in North America by Tokyopop, who released nine volumes, and in France the manga is licensed and published by Pika Édition. The manga is the first work in the franchise to feature a main female lead.

    Osamu Sekita was a Japanese anime director and storyboard artist. He was known for directing series such as Beast Wars II, Beast Wars Neo, Cross Game, Strawberry 100%, and Transformers: Robots in Disguise, as well as the OVA series Osu!! Karate Bu, Shin Captain Tsubasa, and U-Jin Brand.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs.</i> 2010 video game

    Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. is a 3D arcade fighting game and the second latest in the series of Gundam VS video game series developed and published by Namco Bandai Games prior to Gundam Versus which is on PS4. Extreme Vs. is the sequel to Capcom's Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT. The game was first unveiled at the AOU 2010 and released on September 28, 2010. The game was later released on the PlayStation 3 on December 1, 2011, featuring balance tweaks.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO</i> Japanese OVA series

    Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO is a Japanese mini-series of nine CGI short films and OVAs based on the Gundam anime franchise, released from 2004 to 2009 in three chapters each comprising three episodes. Directed by Takashi Imanishi and with Yutaka Izubuchi as production supervisor, the series' storyline takes place during the One Year War of the original Universal Century timeline.

    Mobile Suit Gundam-san, commonly referred to as Gundam-san, is a Japanese yonkoma (4-panel) parody gag manga series by Hideki Ohwada. A part of the Gundam media franchise, it is a parody of the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, featuring Amuro Ray, Lalah Sune, and Char Aznable as main characters. It has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Gundam Ace since June 2001 and collected in fourteen tankōbon volumes.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans</i> Japanese anime television series

    Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, also known as Gundam IBO and G-Tekketsu (Gの鉄血), is a 2015 Japanese television mecha anime series and the fourteenth mainline entry in Sunrise's long-running Gundam franchise, succeeding Gundam Reconguista in G. The series is directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and written by Mari Okada, a team which previously collaborated on Toradora! and Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day. It aired in Japan on MBS and other JNN stations from October 4, 2015 to March 27, 2016, making this the first Gundam series to return to a Sunday late afternoon time slot since Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. A second season premiered the following year on October 2, 2016.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS</i> Japanese light novel series

    Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS is a Japanese light novel series written by Kōjirō Nakamura and illustrated by ARK Performance, released by Sunrise under the Yatate Bunko imprint. It is the second Gundam media to feature a main female protagonist after Mobile Suit Gundam École du Ciel. Set after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and before the events of Mobile Suit Gundam F91, in which it focuses on two former Zeon remnants as they were hired to investigate the remains of the asteroid base Axis. The novel is loosely based on Richard Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury</i> Japanese anime television series

    Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is a Japanese mecha anime series and the fifteenth mainline entry in Sunrise's long-running Gundam franchise. The series is directed by both Hiroshi Kobayashi and Ryō Andō and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, and aired from October 2022 to July 2023.

    <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury</i> (soundtrack) 2023 soundtrack album by Takashi Ohmama

    Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Original Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the anime TV series of the same name, released by Sunrise Music Label on July 26, 2023. It features the series' orchestral score by Takashi Ohmama, plus TV-size versions of the opening and ending themes. The album was released in three editions: a regular edition four-CD version, a limited edition four-CD version with LP-sized packaging, and a two-disc LP version.
