The Military ranks of Guinea are the military insignia used by the Republic of Guinea Armed Forces. [1] Being a former colony of France, Guinea shares a rank structure similar to that of France. [2]

An army corps general or corps general is a rank held by a General officer who commands an army corps. The rank originates from the French (Revolutionary) System, and is used by a number of countries. Normally, the rank is above the divisional general and below the army general, so it corresponds to the lieutenant general, but in some countories that adpot the general officer three rank system, this rank not used, in which case the army general often rank just above divisional general.
