VH1 India is an Indian subscription music television and pop culture channel. It was launched in 2005 as a result of a joint venture between MTV India and Zee-Turner, based on the original American network. [1] It broadcasts shows like VH1 Top 10, Hit Factory and Good Morning VH1. It also airs MTV international shows. It is now owned by Viacom18 under a license agreement with Paramount Networks EMEAA.

It is the last remaining VH1 channel to use the 2003 branding, and the only VH1 channel still remaining outside of the United States.

TMF was a music video and entertainment channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The channel was owned by Viacom International Media Networks and was originally a Dutch channel. Formed after the two other TMF stations, which were based in mainland Europe, the channel was created to counter against EMAP's The Hits channel on the new free-to-air digital terrestrial television service Freeview in 2002. The channel ceased broadcasting on 26 October 2009.

The Cable Music Channel (CMC) was an American basic cable channel that was owned by the Turner Broadcasting System. The all-music video channel was created by Ted Turner and launched in 1984, providing the first national competition to MTV. Turner later stated that the channel existed at the behest of the cable industry as a defense mechanism against MTV's unsuccessful attempts to increase the fees that cable providers paid to carry the channel by twofold; Turner offered the channel without any carriage fees.

It is the Indian equivalent ofthe original American channel and is owned by Viacom18, a joint venture between Paramount Global and TV18. Despite using the "Nickelodeon" branding, it does not air any content from the original channel in recent times as part of a localisation strategy; instead the original Nickelodeon content is only broadcast on the Nickelodeon HD+ channel. As of October 2020, Nickelodeon is the most watched children's channel in India.
