The first case of the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic in the Indian state of Bihar was reported in Munger on 22 March 2020. A 38-year-old who was confirmed positive for coronavirus, was also its first victim.^[1] He had travel history to Qatar.^[2] The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed a total of 482 cases as of 2 May 2020 including 4 deaths and 117 recoveries.^[3] The virus has spread in 30 districts of the state, of which Munger has the highest number of cases.^[4]

Up to 27 April total home screened by health workers is 7459917.
On 28 April total 19 new cases reported and 7 recovered.
