The Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit (MRT) system serving the city of Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Maharashtra, India. The system is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and supplement the overcrowded Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is being built in three phases over a 15-year period, with overall completion expected in October 2026. When completed, the core system will comprise fourteen high-capacity metro railway lines, spanning a total of 356.972 kilometres (221.812 mi), and serviced by 226 stations.

Line 1 (Mumbai Metro)

The Blue Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro, or the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Line, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. The 11.40 km line is fully elevated, and consists of 12 stations from Versova to Ghatkopar. The line connects the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. It was built at an estimated cost of 4,321 crore (US$610 million) and is operated by the Metro One Operation Pvt Ltd (MOOPL) on a 5-year contract. This special purpose vehicle, namely, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) was incorporated for the implementation of the project. Reliance Infrastructure holds 69% of the equity share capital of MMOPL, while MMRDA holds 26% and remaining 5% is held by RATPDev Transdev Asia.

Ashok Park Main metro station

Ashok Park Main is a station on the Green Line of the Delhi Metro and is located in the West Delhi district of Delhi. It is an elevated station and was inaugurated on 2 April 2010. An extension of this branch going towards Kirti Nagar was opened on 27 August 2011. It is an interchange station for both Red Line towards Inderlok and Blue Line towards Kirti Nagar.
