Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code is an eight-bit character encoding used mainly on IBM mainframe and IBM midrange computer operating systems. It descended from the code used with punched cards and the corresponding six-bit binary-coded decimal code used with most of IBM's computer peripherals of the late 1950s and early 1960s. It is supported by various non-IBM platforms, such as Fujitsu-Siemens' BS2000/OSD, OS-IV, MSP, and MSP-EX, the SDS Sigma series, Unisys VS/9, Burroughs MCP and ICL VME.

In computing, a code page is a character encoding and as such it is a specific association of a set of printable characters and control characters with unique numbers. Typically each number represents the binary value in a single byte.

IBM code page 285 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Windows code pages are sets of characters or code pages used in Microsoft Windows from the 1980s and 1990s. Windows code pages were gradually superseded when Unicode was implemented in Windows, although they are still supported both within Windows and other platforms.

Code page 1047 is an EBCDIC code page with the full Latin-1 character set. It is closely related to both EBCDIC 037-2 and EBCDIC 037, both of which also encode Latin-1.

IBM code page 500 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset support used in IBM mainframes.

The programming language APL uses a number of symbols, rather than words from natural language, to identify operations, similarly to mathematical symbols. Prior to the wide adoption of Unicode, a number of special-purpose EBCDIC and non-EBCDIC code pages were used to represent the symbols required for writing APL.

IBM code page 273 is an EBCDIC code page with the full Latin-1 character set used in IBM mainframes in Austria and Germany.

IBM code page 277 is an EBCDIC code page with the full Latin-1 character set used in IBM mainframes in Denmark and Norway.

IBM code page 297 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in France.

IBM code page 871 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in Iceland.

IBM code page 880 is an EBCDIC code page that supports Cyrillic used in IBM mainframes in Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. A revision is EBCDIC 1025. EBCDIC 880 is a revision of EBCDIC 410 to cover all of ASCII.

IBM code page 1025 is an EBCDIC code page with full Cyrillic-charset used in IBM mainframes. It is a revision of EBCDIC 880.

Code page 293 is EBCDIC code page used by IBM mainframes. It used to write source code for the APL programming language.

IBM code page 274 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in Belgium.

IBM code page 281 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in Japan.

IBM code page 286 is an EBCDIC code page used on IBM mainframes in Germany and Austria to support the German language.

IBM code page 290 is an EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes in Japan. It supports Katakana. Contrast EBCDIC 298.

Code page 310, known as "3270 APL Graphic Escape" or "Graphic Escape APL/TN", is an EBCDIC code page used on IBM mainframes to write the APL programming language. It is used alongside Code page 037, with the Code page 310 codes being prefixed by the Graphic Escape control character.

IBM code page 361 is an EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes. It is similar to EBCDIC 500, but does not support all of ISO 8859-1. It also does not support all of ASCII because the circumflex (^) and grave (`) are missing. It contains a number of ligatures and quotation marks but (‚) (U+201A) is missing, because it is unified with the comma in this codepage. This code page is supported by IBM.
