Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code is an eight-bit character encoding used mainly on IBM mainframe and IBM midrange computer operating systems. It descended from the code used with punched cards and the corresponding six-bit binary-coded decimal code used with most of IBM's computer peripherals of the late 1950s and early 1960s. It is supported by various non-IBM platforms, such as Fujitsu-Siemens' BS2000/OSD, OS-IV, MSP, and MSP-EX, the SDS Sigma series, Unisys VS/9, Burroughs MCP and ICL VME.
In computing, a code page is a character encoding and as such it is a specific association of a set of printable characters and control characters with unique numbers. Typically each number represents the binary value in a single byte.
Code page 1047 is an EBCDIC code page with the full Latin-1 character set. It is closely related to both EBCDIC 037-2 and EBCDIC 037, both of which also encode Latin-1.
IBM code page 500 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset support used in IBM mainframes.
IBM code page 284 is an EBCDIC code page with full Latin-1-charset used in IBM mainframes in Spain and Latin America.
IBM code page 880 is an EBCDIC code page that supports Cyrillic used in IBM mainframes in Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. A revision is EBCDIC 1025. EBCDIC 880 is a revision of EBCDIC 410 to cover all of ASCII.
IBM code page 1025 is an EBCDIC code page with full Cyrillic-charset used in IBM mainframes. It is a revision of EBCDIC 880.
Code page 252 aka EBCDIC 252 is a Polish EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes. GCSGID is 00093, and CPGID is 00252. The number of characters in the code page is 96.

IBM code page 1166 is an EBCDIC code page is a revision of EBCDIC 1154 to cover the Kazakh language.
IBM code page 6 is an EBCDIC code page used on IBM mainframes in the Latin America to support the Spanish language.
IBM code page 256 is an EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes. It supports all of Latin-1-charset except for the middle dot (·), copyright sign (©) superscript one (¹), multiplication sign (×), division sign (÷). EBCDIC 500 replaces the Peseta Sign (₧) with the middle dot, the florin sign (ƒ) with the copyright sign, the dotless i (ı) with the superscript one, the double low line (‗) with the multiplication sign, and the en space with the division sign to include all of ISO 8859-1. It supports the following:
IBM code page 283 is an EBCDIC code page with full EBCDIC 256 charset used in IBM mainframes. It was used in Spain.
IBM code page 361 is an EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes. It is similar to EBCDIC 500, but does not support all of ISO 8859-1. It also does not support all of ASCII because the circumflex (^) and grave (`) are missing. It contains a number of ligatures and quotation marks but (‚) (U+201A) is missing, because it is unified with the comma in this codepage. This code page is supported by IBM.
IBM code page 1079 is an EBCDIC code page used in IBM mainframes in Spain and Latin America for Basque, Catalan, English, and Spanish.
IBM code page 382 is an EBCDIC code page used used in IBM mainframes. It is called Publishing: Austria, Germany, Switzerland. This code page is supported by IBM. It is a modification of EBCDIC 361.
