Girard is a town in Burke County, Georgia, United States. The population was 184 in 2020. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.

History

Girard was incorporated in 1902. ^[4]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km²), of which 3.2 square miles (8.2 km²) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²), or 1.20%, is water. ^[6]

Girard is located near the South Carolina state line on State Highway 23.
