The factory produced 14,387 steam locomotives from 1899 to 1945 at its Berlin site (Drewitz, Nowawes, Babelsberg) with the works number range from 337 to 12965.

Orenstein & Koppel was a major German engineering company specialising in railway vehicles, escalators, and heavy equipment. It was founded on April 1, 1876, in Berlin by Benno Orenstein and Arthur Koppel.
The Deutsche Reichsbahn's Class 52 is a German steam locomotive built in large numbers during the Second World War. It was the most produced type of the so-called Kriegslokomotiven or Kriegsloks. The Class 52 was a wartime development of the pre-war DRG Class 50, using fewer parts and less expensive materials to speed production. They were designed by Richard Wagner who was Chief Engineer of the Central Design Office at the Locomotive Standards Bureau of the DRG. About a dozen classes of locomotive were referred to as Kriegslokomotiven; however, the three main classes were the Class 52, 50 and 42. They were numbered 52 1-52 7794. A total of 20 are preserved in Germany.
The Blonay–Chamby Museum Railway is a short 3-kilometre-long (1.9 mi) steep but adhesion worked metre gauge heritage railway operated as part of the Blonay–Chamby Railway Museum using vintage steam and electric locomotives and rolling stock. It uses the Blonay–Chamby railway line, originally built by the Chemins de fer électriques Veveysans. It is rail-connected at both ends, at its upper terminus, at Chamby Station on the Montreux–Lenk im Simmental line and at the lower end at Blonay station on the Vevey–Les Pléiades railway line operated by Transports Montreux–Vevey–Riviera.
The Southern Fuegian Railway or the Train of the End of the World is a 500 mm gauge steam railway in Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina. It was originally built as a freight line to serve the prison of Ushuaia, specifically to transport timber. It now operates as a heritage railway into the Tierra del Fuego National Park and is considered the southernmost functioning railway in the world.
The Buenos Aires Midland Railway (BAM) was a British-owned railway company which operated in Argentina, where it was known as Ferrocarril Midland de Buenos Aires. The company built and operated the 1,000 mm gauge line between Puente Alsina and Carhué in Buenos Aires Province.
The Bavarian Localbahn Society, with its headquarters in Tegernsee, is a society that is concerned with the history of the railways in Bavaria. Localbahn means 'branch line' and is mainly used in southern Germany and Austria in lieu of the usual term Nebenbahn. The BLV's objectives are the operation of historic trains and the collection of historically valuable railway items from Bavaria.
The German DRG Class 84s were standard goods train tank locomotives with the Deutsche Reichsbahn. A total of twelve engines were placed into service by the Reichsbahn between 1935 and 1937. The machines were given operating numbers 84 001–012. They were worked on the Müglitz Valley Railway (Müglitztalbahn) between Heidenau and Altenberg in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), for which they were specially designed to negotiate tight curves. They were manufactured by the firms of Berliner Maschinenbau and Orenstein & Koppel. One feature was that they were Berliner-built locomotives were fitted with Schwartzkopff-Eckhardt II bogies, while the O&K-built had Luttermöller axles.
The Valdepeñas–Puertollano railway was a Spanish 750 mm gauge narrow gauge railway that operated between Valdepeñas and Puertollano. The railway opened in 1924 and closed in 1963, and operated over 78 kilometres (48 mi) of track. Locomotives included 9 steam locomotives of 0-8-0 and 0-6-0 types manufactured by Couillet, Arnold Jung and Orenstein & Koppel, and one diesel locomotive made by Metalúrgica S. Martin. There were also 17 passenger cars and 160 freight cars.
A steam railcar, steam motor car (US), or Railmotor (UK) is a railcar that is self powered by a steam engine. The first steam railcar was an experimental unit designed and built in 1847 by James Samuel and William Bridges Adams in Britain. In 1848 they made the Fairfield steam carriage that they sold to the Bristol & Exeter Railway, who used it for two years on a branch line.

The Capilla del Señor Historic Train was a heritage railway of Buenos Aires Province in Argentina. The service ran trains pulled by steam locomotives between the cities of Buenos Aires and Capilla del Señor, covering a distance of 86 km (53 mi). Trains ran on 1,435 mm tracks originally built by the Buenos Aires Central Railway and currently part of General Urquiza Railway since the railway nationalisation of 1948.

The Prussian G 5.3 was a class of 2-6-0 goods locomotives. They were the two-cylinder-simple version of the compound G 5.4. As with many Prussian locomotive design, simple and compound versions of the same type built. The G 5.3, like the G 5.4, differed from the G 5.1 and G 5.2 as it had a shorter wheelbase and a higher-pitched boiler. The Krauss-Helmholtz bogie was intended to improve the driving characteristics, especially at higher speeds. Production of the G 5.3 was from 1903 until 1906, and 206 units were built.
The Decauville factory in Val-Saint-Lambert was a Belgian subsidiary of the French narrow-gauge railway manufacturer Decauville. It was founded in 1895 and taken over by the Berlin-based company O&K from 1911.
