This is a list of animated fictional towns, villages, settlements and cities. This list should include only well-referenced, notable examples of fictional settlements that are integral to a work of fiction and substantively depicted therein. Fictionalized versions of actual towns (such as Raytown, Missouri in Mama's Family and Wellsville, New York in The Adventures of Pete & Pete ) are not included. Animated adaptations of comics, books, films and video games should only be listed if the animated version is notably different from the original work.

Futari Daka is a Japanese motorcycle racing manga written and illustrated by Kaoru Shintani. It received the 1984 Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen manga. The series focuses on Sawatari Taka and Toujou Taka as they compete with each other and other competitors in motorcycle racing. Their names means "hawk" and "falcon", respectively.

Nanook's Great Hunt is a 1996 animated series of 26 episodes. It was co-produced by Elma Animation, Medver International Inc., and TF1, in association with Mediatoon. The series was created and produced by Serge Rosenzweig; the directors were Franck Bourgeron, Marc Perret, and Stéphane Roux; the executive producers were Paul Rozenberg, Dana Hastier, and Lyse Lafontaine; the writers were Françoise Charpiat, Sophie Decroisette and Serge Rosenzweig; music was by Xavier Cobo and Michaël Dune. The series first aired in France on Wednesday September 3, 1997, on TF1's TF! Jeunesse. It also aired in Canada in French on Mondays at 8 pm on Télétoon, and in English on Teletoon on Thursdays at 4:55 pm. A 70-minute special titled Nanook: le grand combat/Nanook - The Great Combat was produced in 1996 as well. The special was directed by Gérald Fleury.

Enrique Nicanor is a film and TV producer/director, writer and designer best known for his works for public service broadcasting as Director of TVE-2, the Spanish Public TV and the creation of Caponata and Perezgil, the Spanish muppets of Sesame Street. He began as a designer and film animation Director in Cuba (1959). Based in Paris (1965) and Spain (1967) he was board member and President of INPUT-TV, The International Public TV Conference and Film trainer at EAVE, The European Producers' workshop and the European Commission Learning Network. Independent producer since 1988.

Donkey Kong Country is an animated musical television series based on the video game Donkey Kong Country from Nintendo and Rare. Co-produced by Nelvana, Medialab Studio L.A. and Hong Guang Animation, in association with WIC Entertainment, with the participation of Teletoon—for Season 1, it was produced in co-production with France 2, Canal+, in association with Valar 4.

<i>Le Manège enchanté</i> French childrens television series

Le Manège enchanté is a popular French animated children's television series of hundreds of episodes each five minutes long, which premiered on October 5, 1964, on the first channel of the ORTF. Serge Danot created the series.

Lucky Luke is an animated television series based on the comic book series of the same name created by the Belgian cartoonist and creator of the franchise Morris. The series lasted for 26 episodes, and was co-produced by Hanna-Barbera, Gaumont, Extrafilm and FR3. In France, the series was broadcast from 15 October 1984 on FR3. In the United States, the show aired in syndication on various CBS and ABC stations.

Nate Is Late is an animated television series created by Sylvain Huchet and Peter Saisselin. The series is produced by Watch Next Media and distributed by KidsFirst. The series originally aired on France 4, Super RTL, and 9Go!.

The Postman from Space is a children's comics series written and illustrated by Guillaume Perreault from Quebec, Canada, and published by La Pastèque. It has also been adapted into a children's animated series in French, produced by La Pastèque and URBANIA, and a French podcast series produced by La Pastèque in collaboration with La puce à l'oreille. Publishers Weekly recommends the comics for children ages seven and older. The comics were translated into English by Françoise Bui. The English translation of the comics were published by Holiday House.

Kimboo is a Franco-Ivorian animated television series which originally aired on France's FR3 during 1989–1990. Created by the Côte d'Ivoire's then-First Lady Marie-Thérèse Houphouët-Boigny, its title character—an Ivorian boy who journeys from his home village with a sister and a pet parrot—was designated as an ambassador for Africa's children and culture. Consisting of 48 five-minute episodes, the series was accompanied by a tie-in magazine and book series and also exported abroad. Kimboo and Kids, a 30-minute U.S. version featuring market-exclusive live-action segments, was the first animated program to air on the Black Entertainment Television (BET) network during 1991–1992, receiving a Parents' Choice Award after its run ended.
