The Second Authority for Television and Radio is an Israeli commercial television and radio authority, established in the wake of a law passed by the Knesset in 1990.
Channel 10, formerly known as Israel 10, was an Israeli free-to-air television channel. Operating under the auspices of The Second Authority for Television and Radio, Channel 10 was one of three commercial television channels in Israel, enjoying an average audience rating of 6.5% in 2011 within its main news program.
Channel 2, also called "The Second Channel" was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio. In its first years, the channel was operated by three broadcasters, and in 2005 only two broadcasters were left while "Telad" stopped broadcasting due to its loss in the Second Authority's auction.
Kokhav Nolad was an Israeli reality television show searching for talented new vocalists, based on the British Pop Idol model. Since its debut on Israeli Channel 2 in 2003, Kokhav Nolad has become popular and turned out many new musical stars. The show was hosted by Zvika Hadar.
Reshet is an Israeli television broadcasting and production company. It was one of the two concessionaires running the Israeli commercial television channel, Channel 2 from 1993 to 2017, and is running channel 13 alongside RGE media group at the present.
Hahamishia Hakamerit was a weekly Israeli satirical sketch comedy television program created by Asaf Tzipor, who was also the main writer of the show, and Eitan Tzur, who directed the entire run of the show. Hahamishia Hakamerit was broadcast on Israeli Channel 2 and Channel 1 in the years 1993-1997. Later on, reruns of the show were broadcast on the cable channel Bip.

Big Brother is the Israeli version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother created by producer John de Mol in 1997. The show began broadcasting in 2008, following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants, known as "Housemates" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the competition, housemates are evicted from the house. The last remaining Housemate wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize.
Keshet 12 News is one of the three major brands of Israeli television news programmes. Produced for Keshet 12 by Keshet Media Group subsidiary Israel Television News Company, a.k.a.HaHadashot 12. Its flagship evening news bulletin is broadcast at 8:00 p.m. IST, and anchored primarily by Yonit Levi and Danny Kushmaro. The company, originally the news department of Channel 2 – where its bulletins were known as HaHadashot 2 – was funded by Keshet Media Group and Reshet; Telad also funded the company until it lost time slots on Channel 2 in 2005.

Between 2015 and 2020, and again since 2024, the show is used to select Israel's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest.
