Admiral (Ret.) Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno (born 20 September 1952) is an Indonesian politician and retired Naval officer. [1] [2] He was the Coordinating Minister for Political,Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia from 27 October 2014 to 12 August 2015. Tedjo was also the Chief of Staff of the Navy from 2008 to 2009. [3] [4]
Tedjo completed his military training at the Indonesian Naval Academy in 1975. He also obtained a law degree from Hang Tuah University,Surabaya in 2001. He also attend numerous military education namely Indonesian Navy Staff and Command School,Indonesian Armed Forces Staff and Command School,National Defence Institution,National Resilience Institute Course batch 34.
Tedjo was born in Magelang,Central Java on 20 September 1952. He is married with 4 children.
Tedjo has served for 35 years in Indonesian Navy. He served in numerous branches of the Indonesian Navy including the Naval Aviation Unit as Fixed wing Naval Aviator,he also served as the commanding officer of KRI Teluk Lampung (540),KRI Teluk Semangka (512) and KRI Multatuli (561).

Admiral Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno was officially replaced by Admiral Agus Suhartono on 13 November 2009. [5]
On 27 October 2014,he was appointed to serve in President Joko Widodo Working Cabinet (2014–2019) as Coordinating Minister for Political,Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Indonesian National Armed Forces are the military forces of the Republic of Indonesia. It consists of the Army (TNI-AD), Navy (TNI-AL), and Air Force (TNI-AU). The President of Indonesia is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. As of 2023, it comprises approximately 400,000 military personnel including the Indonesian Marine Corps, which is a branch of the Navy.

Moeldoko is an Indonesian government official, businessman, and retired general serving as the current Chief of Staff of Presidency for President Joko Widodo, previously serving as Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces. Indonesian Fleet Command is a naval combat force of the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL), it was formed and inaugurated by the Commander of the National Armed Forces Gen. Andika Perkasa on 21 January 2022. The Fleet Command consists of three fleets, namely: 1st Fleet Command located in Tanjungpinang, 2nd Fleet Command located in Surabaya and 3rd Fleet Command located in Sorong.
