She is currently serving as Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media[de] in the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 2021.

From 2010 until 2016 she served as president of The Greens–European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament.

Godelieve Quisthoudt-Rowohl is a German politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1989 until 2019. She is a member of the Christian Democratic Union in Lower Saxony, which is a part of the European People's Party. She most recently served as the European People's Party's coordinator of the International Trade Committee (INTA), chairwoman of the UK Monitoring Group of INTA, vice-coordinator of the Committee on Human Rights (DROI) and vice-chairwoman of the Delegation for relations with Canada.
Anders Gunnar Hökmark is a Swedish politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2004 until 2019. He is member of the Moderate Party, part of the European People's Party. He previously served as Secretary of the Moderate Party from 1991 to 1999 and Member of the Riksdag (MP) for Stockholm County from 1982 to 2004.
Udo Bullmann is a German politician who has been serving as a member of the European Parliament since 1999. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), part of the Party of European Socialists. He has been re-elected to serve as a member until 2029. In the 10th legislation he is the coordinator for his political group in the Committee on Development and a member in the Committee on International Trade. Reinier van Lanschot is a Dutch politician and one of Volt Netherlands Members of the European Parliament alongside Anna Strolenberg. In 2018, he co-founded Volt Netherlands with Laurens Dassen and served as its chairman during the party's first year. He was the party's top candidate for the European Parliament in the 2019 election and again in the 2024 election. Van Lanschot was elected to the co-presidency of Volt Europa at the 2019 General Assembly in Sofia, and re-elected for a second mandate at the 2021 Lisbon General Assembly.
Magdalene Hoff was a German Social Democratic Party of Germany politician who served five terms in the European Parliament as a member of the West Germany constituency and later the constituency of Germany on behalf of the Socialist Group later the Group of the Party of European Socialists then from July 1979 to July 2004. She was vice-president of the European Parliament between 1997 and 1999. Hoff was a member of several committees such as the Committee on Budgetary Control and the Committee on Budgets. She was a recipient of the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Marlene Lenz is a German Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) politician and translator who served four terms as a Member of the European Parliament in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1999. She worked for the French Europa League, the German Atlantic Society, the European Economic Community's European Commission and was secretary-general and later vice-president of the European Union of Women. Lenz was also involved in local politics for the CDU in Bonn.
Ursula Schleicher is a German Christian Social Union in Bavaria politician and harpist who served two terms in the Bundestag from 1972 to 1980 and five terms in the European Parliament between 1979 and 2004. She served as state chair of the Paneuropean Union in Bavaria between 1988 and 1994 before becoming its deputy federal chair in 1995 and was a Vice-President of the European Parliament from 1994 to 1999. Schleicher was appointed Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, the Bavarian Order of Merit and the Grand Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2001.
