The deadliest crash in 2024 occurred when a Boeing 737-800 operating as Jeju Air Flight 2216 overran the runway while performing a belly landing in Muan, South Korea, on 29 December, killing 179 of the 181 passengers and crew on board. [111] Flight 2216 is currently the deadliest plane crash of the 2020s decade, the deadliest crash involving a Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft surpassing Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, and the second-deadliest accident involving a Boeing 737 behind Lion Air Flight 610.

Billings Logan International Airport is in the western United States, two miles northwest of downtown Billings, in Yellowstone County, Montana.
