Jack Brisco American professional wrestler and amateur wrestler

Freddie Joe "Jack" Brisco was an American professional wrestler. He performed for various territories of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), becoming a two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and multi-time NWA Tag Team Champion with his brother Gerald Brisco. Brisco is considered one of the top wrestlers of his era; in 2005, Don Leo Jonathan called him "probably the greatest champion of the 20th century."

David Brown (producer) American film and theatre producer and writer

David Brown was an American film and theatre producer and writer who was best known for coproducing the 1975 film Jaws based on the best-selling novel by Peter Benchley.

Jaws is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel of the same name. In the film, a giant man-eating great white shark attacks beachgoers at a New England summer resort town, prompting police chief Martin Brody to hunt it with the help of a marine biologist and a professional shark hunter. Murray Hamilton plays the mayor, and Lorraine Gary portrays Brody's wife. The screenplay is credited to Benchley, who wrote the first drafts, and actor-writer Carl Gottlieb, who rewrote the script during principal photography.

Juan del Campo Esteibar was a Spanish field hockey player who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was born and died in San Sebastián.

Myron Donovan Crocker was a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Cochin Haneefa Indian actor

Salim Ahmed Ghoush, better known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa, was an Indian film actor, director, and screenwriter. He started his career in the 1970s mainly portraying villainous roles, before going on to become one of the most popular comedians of Malayalam cinema. He has acted in more than 300 films in Malayalam and Tamil.

Claudio Corti was a mountain climber from Olginate, Italy. He is most famous for his 1957 effort to climb the 1938 route on the north face of the Eiger, during which his party was stranded and a massive rescue operation was organized. Corti was successfully rescued, but his partner, Stefano Longhi, was not.

Elazar ben Tsedaka ben Yitzhaq Samaritan high priest

Elazar ben Tsedaka ben Yitzhaq was the Samaritan High Priest from 2004 until his death. He was born in Nablus. He succeeded his cousin Saloum Cohen in 2004. According to tradition he is the 131st holder of this post since Aaron.

Frank Fasi United States politician who was the longest serving Mayor of Honolulu

Frank Francis Fasi was an American politician who was the longest serving Mayor of Honolulu in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, serving for 22 years. He also served as a territorial senator and member of the Honolulu City Council.

Bill Dudley American football player

William McGarvey "Bullet Bill" Dudley was a professional American football player in the National Football League for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, and Washington Redskins. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 1972.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Steelers compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) North division. Founded in 1933, the Steelers are the oldest franchise in the AFC.

Bayken Ashimov was a Kazakh politician. He served as Chairmen of the Council of People's Commissars from March 1970 to March 1984. He also served as Chairmen of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet from March 1984 to 1985.

Gul Hameed Bhatti was a Pakistani journalist, editor and a leading sports writer. Known as Pakistan's "Encyclopaedia of Cricket", Bhatti wrote for The Cricketer Magazine published from Karachi.

Brendan Burke Ice hockey professional

Brendan Gilmore Burke was an athlete and student manager at Miami University for the RedHawks men's ice hockey team. The youngest son of Brian Burke, former general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs and of the US Olympic hockey team, in November 2009, he made international headlines for coming out, advocating for tolerance and speaking out against homophobia in professional sports. Burke's coming out was widely praised and supported by sports news outlets and fans, generating multiple discussions about homophobia in sports, and in hockey in particular. He was viewed as a pioneer in advocacy against homophobia in hockey, described as "the closest person to the NHL ever to come out publicly and say that he is gay."
