Nikolay Alexandrovich Abramov was a Russian professional football player.

Anna Anni was an Italian costume designer. She was co-nominated with Maurizio Millenotti for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for their work in the film Otello (1986).

Otello is a 1986 film based on the Giuseppe Verdi opera of the same name, which was itself based on the Shakespearean play Othello. The film was directed by Franco Zeffirelli and starred Plácido Domingo in the title role, Katia Ricciarelli as Desdemona and Justino Díaz as Iago. For the movie's soundtrack, Lorin Maazel conducted the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro alla Scala. The film premiered in West Germany on 28 August 1986 and received a U.S. theatrical release on 12 September 1986. It was nominated for a Bafta Award and a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.

Speaker of the Lok Sabha Presiding officer of the lower house of the Parliament of India

The Speaker of the Lok Sabha is the presiding officer of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India. The speaker is elected generally in the first meeting of the Lok Sabha following general elections. Serving for a term of five years, the speaker chosen from sitting members of the Lok Sabha, and is by convention a member of the ruling party or alliance.

Kathleen M. "Kate" Ebli was a Michigan state representative from the 56th district, serving from 2006 until 2010. She was a Democrat, Catholic, and member of the National Rifle Association.

Julia Bonds environmental activist

Julia "Judy" Bonds was an organizer and activist from the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, United States. Raised in a family of coalminers, she worked from an early age at minimum wage jobs. Bonds was the director of Coal River Mountain Watch (CRMW). She has been called "the godmother of the anti-mountaintop removal movement."

Fadil Hadžić Croatian film director and playwright

Fadil Hadžić was a Bosnian-Croatian film director, screenwriter, playwright and journalist, mainly known for his comedy films and plays. He was of Bosnian origin, but mainly lived and worked in Croatia, and was well known throughout Yugoslavia.

Jill Haworth British actress

Valerie Jill Haworth was an English actress. She appeared in films throughout the 1960s, and started making guest appearances on television in 1963. She originated the role of Sally Bowles in the musical Cabaret on Broadway in 1966.

Mohamed Bouazizi Tunisian street vendor

Tarek el-Tayeb Mohamed Bouazizi was a Tunisian street vendor who set himself on fire on 17 December 2010, which became a catalyst for the Tunisian Revolution and the wider Arab Spring against autocratic regimes. His self-immolation was in response to the confiscation of his wares and the harassment and humiliation inflicted on him by a municipal official and her aides.

Self-immolation is the act of killing oneself for political or religious reasons, particularly by burning. It is often used as an extreme form of protest or in acts of martyrdom. It has a centuries-long recognition as the most extreme form of protest achieved by humankind.

Grady Chapman was best known as the American lead singer of doo wop group The Robins.

James Hampton Duncan was an American gridiron football player and coach.

Paul Wennes Egertson was an American Lutheran clergyman. He was Bishop of the Southwest California Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America from 1995 to 2001 and served as a senior lecturer at the California Lutheran University.

David Hart was a British writer, businessman, and adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He also had a career in the 1960s as an avant-garde film maker. He was a controversial figure during the 1984–5 miners strike and played a leading role in organising and funding the anti-strike campaign in the coalfields.
