Florence Laura Goodenough was an American psychologist and professor at the University of Minnesota who studied child intelligence and various problems in the field of child development. She was president of the Society for Research in Child Development from 1946-1947. She is best known for published book The Measurement of Intelligence, where she introduced the Goodenough Draw-A-Man test to assess intelligence in young children through nonverbal measurement. She is noted for developing the Minnesota Preschool Scale. In 1931 she published two notable books titled Experimental Child Study and Anger in Young Children which analyzed the methods used in evaluating children. She wrote the Handbook of Child Psychology in 1933, becoming the first known psychologist to critique ratio I.Q.

Reuder was an American experimental psychologist, statistician, and licensed clinical psychologist known for her involvement in the American Psychological Association (APA) and her active mentorship of women in psychology. Reuder was the former chairperson of the Psychology Department of Queens College, City University of New York and a member of the faculty at Queens College for three decades.

Sandra Florence Schwartz Tangri was a feminist psychologist and distinguished university professor of social psychology and the psychology of women. Tangri conducted pioneering research on the lives of women who graduated college and embarked on careers dominated by men. She studied women's motivations in choosing a career and their experiences of sexual harassment.

Jessica Henderson Daniel is a psychologist and educator, known for her work on mental health in the Black community, racial trauma, and the effects of stress and violence on Black children and adolescents. Daniel was the first African American woman to lead the American Psychological Association (APA), serving her term as president of the organization in 2018.

Sue Rosenberg Zalk (1945 – 2001) was a development psychologist, feminist, and psychoanalyst known for her work on interpersonal relationships and attitudes about race and gender. Zalk was the Vice President for Student Affairs at the CUNY Graduate School at the time of her death.
