Lower Seletar is a subzone located in the northern part of Singapore, situated within the town of Yishun. Lower Seletar is home to many private housing estates, lacking any public housing within its vicinity. Lower Seletar Reservoir is located along Lentor Avenue which is the only major road in Lower Seletar. The stretch of the North South MRT line between Khatib MRT station and Yio Chu Kang MRT station also plies along Lentor Avenue. Lower Seletar can be also accessed through Seletar Expressway (Exit 3).
All the military training areas in Lower Seletar will become new sites for North-South Expressway, residential areas and bus depot respectively. At the eastern part of the district of Seletar, there were plans to build a crematorium nearby for the dead people, to reduce overcrowding at Mount Vernon, Mandai, Fernvale, Yishun and Chua Chu Kang respectively.
There are many bus routes which pass through Lentor Avenue, such as 851,852,853,854,855 and 857. Additionally, 825 from Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange passes through the Lentor Estate.

The North South line (NSL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore, operated by SMRT. Coloured red on the rail map, the line is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long and serves 27 stations, 11 of which, between the Bishan and Marina South Pier stations, are underground. It runs from Jurong East station, located in Western Singapore, to Marina South Pier station in the Central Area, via Woodlands station in northern Singapore. The line operates for 19 hours a day, with headways of up to 3 minutes during peak hours and 7 minutes during off-peak hours. All the trains on the NSL run with a six-car formation.
Ang Mo Kio, often abbreviated as AMK, is a planning area and residential town situated in the North-East of Singapore. Ang Mo Kio is the 3rd most populated planning area in the North-East Region and ranks 8th in terms of population in the country overall. The planning area is located at the south-western corner of the North-East Region, bordered by the planning areas of Yishun to the north, Sengkang to the north-east, Serangoon to the east, Bishan to the south and the Central Water Catchment to the west.
Woodlands is a planning area and residential town located in the North Region of Singapore. The town has a population of 252,530 within an area of 4.8 km2. It is the regional centre for the North Region of the city-state. The Woodlands planning area borders Sembawang to the east, Mandai to the south and Sungei Kadut to the west. Woodlands New Town is situated within the Woodlands planning area.
Choa Chu Kang, alternatively spelt as Chua Chu Kang and often abbreviated as CCK, is a planning area and residential town located at the north-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. Yishun MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line (NSL) in Yishun, Singapore. The station is located at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Avenue 5, and is currently one of the two MRT stations that serve Yishun New Town; the other being Khatib station.
The history of the Mass Rapid Transit system of Singapore commenced with its planning in the 1960s, which finally led to its opening in 1987 with the launch of the 6 km section of the North South Line from Yio Chu Kang to Toa Payoh. It now has six lines in operation with a total combined route length of 202.4 km (125.8 mi) and 122 stations. The Light Rail Transit which opened in 1999 acts as a feeder service to the MRT network.

Fernvale is a neighbourhood of Sengkang New Town in Singapore. It is located between Sungei Punggol and the proposed Sengkang West Industrial Estate. The house numbers of the public apartment blocks in Fernvale begin with the number '4' (4xx). Fernvale is the newest neighbourhood in Sengkang Town to be completed by the Housing and Development Board (HDB). Seletar Mall, a new shopping amenity which houses Sengkang's first cineplex, is located within this neighbourhood. In 2017, A proposed community facility to be located next to Seletar Mall was announced, which houses a community club, childcare centre, hawker centre and wet market. The community facility which was slated to be ready by the second half of 2020, had stopped construction in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 measures set by the government.
Sengkang is a planning area and residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. The town is the second most populous in the region, being home to 244,600 residents in 2019. Sengkang shares boundaries with Seletar and Punggol in the north, Pasir Ris and Paya Lebar in the east, Hougang and Serangoon to the south, as well as Yishun and Ang Mo Kio to the west.
Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange is a bus interchange in the northern part of Ang Mo Kio. The interchange is located beneath Yio Chu Kang MRT station. Boarding berths are located north of Yio Chu Kang MRT station concourse while and alighting berths are located south. Formerly known as a bus terminal, it was renamed as a bus interchange on 1 August 2013. Expansion works started in December 2018 and were completed in 2019.
Kovan is a neighbourhood located within the town of Hougang, in the North-East Region of Singapore. The neighbourhood today largely consists of private housing properties, where majority of the residents live in terrace homes, semi-detached houses and bungalows.
The North–South Corridor, originally conceptualised as the North-South Expressway, will be the 11th of Singapore's network of expressways when completed. The North South Corridor will serve increasing traffic along the north-south corridor that is currently served by the Central Expressway (CTE). The 21 kilometres (13 mi) expressway will cost about S$7–8 billion when fully completed in 2026 as North-South Corridor and will connect the East Coast Parkway (ECP) with the northern parts of Singapore.
