Benoi Sector is an industrial area in the Western region of Singapore within Jurong Industrial Estate. West of Benoi is Gul and east of Benoi is the Jurong Bird Park. Several shipyards and oil refineries are located in the south of Benoi.
It is bounded by Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, Benoi Road, and Pioneer Road.
Surrounding Benoi Industrial Estate are Exxon Mobil Refinery and Keppel Shipyard.
Joo Koon MRT station is located at Joo Koon Circle along Benoi Road and International Road.
Jurong is a major geographical region located at the south-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. Although mostly vaguely defined, the region's extent roughly covers the planning areas of Jurong East, Jurong West, Boon Lay, and Pioneer, along with Jurong Island in the Western Islands cluster and the southernmost portions of the Western Water Catchment. Should it be described at its greatest historical extent, the region can also include present-day Bukit Batok and Tuas.
The East–West Line (EWL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line operated by SMRT in Singapore, running from Pasir Ris station in the east to Tuas Link station in the west, with an additional branch between Changi Airport and Tanah Merah stations. This interchange serves a variety of passengers, including those from Nanyang Technological University, Jurong Industrial Estate and Tuas Industrial Estate. The interchange has been among the largest and busiest bus interchanges in Singapore, handling 31 services in the past until a few services were amended to the newer Joo Koon Bus Interchange in 2015.
Teban Gardens is a residential precinct located in Jurong East, Singapore. Immediately north of Pandan Reservoir, it comprises exclusively public housing built by the JTC Corporation and Housing and Development Board.
Jurong Island Highway is a major highway in Singapore which links Jurong Pier Road in Jurong Port of the main island to Jurong Island. It was opened in March 1999. It is also the only highway within Jurong Island.

Pulau Samulun is an offshore island in Jurong Industrial Estate, Singapore. It is separated from mainland Singapore by Selat Samulun. It is only less than a kilometre away from Singapore mainland. Jurong Shipyard is located in Pulau Samulun and it also houses a food centre that caters to the workers working there. Samulun is from "sembulun" a tribe of Orang Laut who once lived here.

Pioneer is a planning area located in the West Region of Singapore, named after Pioneer Road, formerly Jalan Besi. The area is bounded by Jurong West to the north, Boon Lay to the east, Tuas to the west, the Western Water Catchment to the northwest and Selat Jurong to the south, and contains the Joo Koon, Benoi and Gul Circle industrial estates.
Jalan Buroh is a major arterial road in western Singapore. It runs along the industrial areas of Pandan, Tanjong Penjuru and Pioneer.
