The Odisha Open is an annual badminton tournament held in India. The tournament is a part of the BWF World Tour tournaments and is leveled in BWF Tour Super 100. [1] [2] The inaugural edition was held in 2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. [3] [4]

The Singapore Open is a badminton event that has been held in Singapore annually since 1929. Badminton World Federation categorized Singapore Open as one of the seven BWF World Tour Super 500 events in the BWF events structure since 2018. In 2023, the tournament will be upgraded to a Super 750 event.
The Australian Open in badminton, is an international open held in Australia. In 2011, it was upgraded to a Grand Prix Gold level event. Between 2014 and 2017, the Australian Open was promoted to a Super Series event. From 2018 to 2022, it is a Super 300 event of the BWF World Tour. From 2023 onwards, this will be a Super 500 tournament.

Marcus Fernaldi Gideon is an Indonesian badminton player who was formerly ranked world No. 1 in the men's doubles by the Badminton World Federation. He plays for PB Jaya Raya, and has joined the club since June 2018. He won the 2017 All England Open with his current partner Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo.
