Ammonium tetrathiovanadate is the inorganic compound with the chemical formula (NH₄)₃VS₄. It is a violet solid. The compound is a salt consisting of three ammonium cations and a tetrahedral VS₄^3- anion. ^{[1] [2]}

Chemical properties

Like other ammonium salts, ammonium tetrathiovanadate decomposes when heated: ^[3]

(NH₄)₃VS₄ → 6NH₃↑ + 3H₂S↑ + V₂S₅

V₂S₅ → V₂S₃ + 2S
