Bumi Sriwijaya Station (formerly Palembang Icon Station) is a station of the Palembang LRT Line 1, located in Ilir Barat I, Palembang.

The station is close to the Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium and the Palembang Icon Mall. The station became one of six stations that opened at the Palembang LRT launch on 1 August 2018. [2]

The stadium was initially named as Jakabaring stadium after the location of the stadium in southern outskirt of Palembang. However, later the stadium was renamed "Gelora Sriwijaya", to honor and celebrate the 7th—13th century Indonesian empire of Srivijaya. The Third Place Playoff of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup was held in this stadium. The football club Sriwijaya is based at the stadium.

Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium or Stadion Bumi Sriwijaya is a multi-purpose stadium in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the host of PS Palembang and Sriwijaya FC. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 spectators and after its renovation in 2017 the capacity was decreased into 6,000 spectators and all seater. The Stadium Serves as one of the Venue for Women's Football in 2018 Asian Games.
