Sudirman Station (SUD, formerly Dukuh Atas Station) is a train station of KRL Commuterline, which is located in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is named from Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, one of the main avenue in Jakarta, which crosses above the station. This station is located on the north bank of West Flood Canal. Though this station serves only Commuterline trains, but it is a transit point for other types of public transportation as part of the Dukuh Atas TOD.^[1]

Distance between this station and Karet railway station is one of the shortest in the network, measuring only 0.8 km between each stations.^[2] Moreover, BNI City railway station, a station that also serves train bound for Soekarno Hatta International Airport, is wedged between Karet and Sudirman station. There is a passageway connecting Sudirman station with BNI City station and Dukuh Atas station of Jakarta MRT.

As the station is located in Jakarta's CBD and is surrounded by some of the most prominent buildings and places in Jakarta, therefore the station is always crowded, especially in rush hour.

History

Sudirmsn station was originally named Dukuh Station (DKH). However, the station's name has changed since 2003 as the operation of the Sudirman Ekspres KRL underwent two trials in March and August 2003.^[3]

On the plan to build a mass transportation line in Jakarta, Sudirman Station is planned to be the main station. Currently, Sudirman Station is connected to Dukuh Atas BNI MRT station and intermodal stations for all types of transportation in Jakarta.^[4] Sudirman Station is also close to TransJakarta BRT corridor 1 (Blok M–Kota), corridor 4 (Dukuh Atas 2–Pulo Gadung) and corridor 6 (Dukuh Atas 2–Ragunan). On 28 August 2023, a multi-purpose crossing bridge that connects this station with the Dukuh Atas LRT Station was opened to the public.^[5]^[6]

Kampung Bandan Station (KPB) is a railway station located in North Jakarta. This station is located close to WTC Mangga Dua. This station has elevated and ground-level tracks. The elevated level tracks are used by trains between Jakarta Kota and Tanjung Priuk, as the Tanjung Priuk Line. The ground tracks are used by trains going to Cikarang as the Cikarang Loop Line. This station has been hit by floods numerous times.

KA Commuter line Jatinegara–Bogor or the Jakarta loop line was a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The line connected Jatinegara station in East Jakarta and Bogor station in Bogor, West Java. On maps and diagrams, the line was shown using the colour "yellow". The Jatinegara–Bogor line was the second busiest line in the KA Commuter system. Covering the distance of 69.35 kilometres, it was the longest KA Commuter line, combining the loop-line on Jatinegara–Kampung Bandan–Tanah Abang–Manggarai with Manggarai–Depok–Bogor lines.

Jalan Jenderal Sudirman or Jalan Sudirman is a major thoroughfare in Jakarta, Indonesia. Named after Indonesian national hero Sudirman, the road runs from Patung Pemuda Membangun at the south end to the bridge of the West Flood Canal to the north, where it meets Jalan M.H. Thamrin. The road had been built between 1949 and 1953 to connect Central Jakarta with Kebayoran Baru.

Karet Station (KAT) is a railway station located in Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. This station lies on the north bank of West Flood Canal. This station only serves Commuterline trains. This station and Sudirman station are spaced only 0.8 km between each other, making it one of the shortest stretch between any two stations in the network. It only takes one minute to travel between these two stations. BNI City railway station, a station that serves Soekarno–Hatta Airport Rail Link exclusively, is wedged between these two station.

Soekarno–Hatta Airport Commuter Line or simply Soekarno-Hatta Line is an airport rail link service in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. This airport rail link was built to cut travel time from the Jakarta city center to the airport, as roads connecting the Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (SHIA) and Jakarta city center are frequently affected by traffic congestion.

BNI City station is a station for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link and KAI Commuter service. The TransJakarta Corridor 1 is the TransJakarta bus rapid transit route in Jakarta, Indonesia. The route operates between Blok M Terminal and Jakarta Kota railway station. It is the first route of the TransJakarta BRT system. The roads that are traversed by corridor 1 are along Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, Trunojoyo, Sisingamangaraja, Sudirman, MH Thamrin, Medan Merdeka Barat, Gajah Mada / Hayam Wuruk, Pintu Besar Utara, Kali Besar Barat, Kunir, and Lada Dalam. Bekasi Timur Station is a class III railway station located in Duren Jaya, East Bekasi, Bekasi, West Java. The station, which is located at an altitude of +19 meters, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I and only serves the KRL Commuterline route.

Metland Telagamurni Station (MTM) is a class III railway station located in Telagamurni, West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. The station, which is located at an altitude of +18 meters, is included in the Operational Area I Jakarta of Kereta Api Indonesia and only serves the KRL Commuterline. The station has two railway tracks.
