Citayam Station (CTA) is a railway station located in West Java, Indonesia; right on the border between Bojong Pondok Terong, Cipayung, Depok and Pabuaran, Bojong Gede, Bogor Regency. The station, which is located at an altitude of +120 m amsl, is owned by Operation Area I Jakarta of Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). The north side of the station is a part of Depok, making it the southernmost station in the city, while the south side is a part Bogor Regency, making it the northernmost one in the regency.
From this station there is a branch to Nambo Station which is 12.6 km long. [4] The line was originally created to make a loopline from Parung Panjang Station to Sungai Lagoa Station id via Cikarang Station. However, due to the financial crisis and fall of President Soeharto in 1998, the line was idle. [5]
After two years, PT Kereta Api operates Manggarai–Nambo diesel multiple unit route. Unfortunately, due to outdated trains and low occupancy, the line was closed in 2006. [5] Since 1 April 2015, the branch line to Nambo has started serving the KRL Commuterline. To the north of this station, before Depok Station, there used to be the Pondok Terong railway stop which is no longer active due to minimal occupancy and also due to the construction of the Jakarta–Bogor double track.
Since 25 March 2021 this station along with Bekasi, Tanah Abang, Kranji, Jakarta Kota, Depok, Depok Baru, Bojong Gede, Parung Panjang, and Angke stations officially ceased the sale of single-trip cards for KRL Commuterline services. [6]
This station has two railway tracks. Line 1 is a straight track to Manggarai, while line 2 is a straight track to Bogor. The train branching to Nambo starts from line 1.

KRL Commuterline, commonly known as Greater Jakarta Commuter rail, or KRL Commuter Line Jabodetabek is a commuter rail system for Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. It was previously known as KRL Jabodetabek. It is operated by KAI Commuter (KCI), a subsidiary of the Indonesian national railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). The rail system uses rolling stock of rapid transit standard and operates at high frequency with a minimum headway. In 2019, the average number of Commuterline users per day reaches average of 1.04 million, with the record of the highest number of users served in a day being 1,154,080.

The line connected Jatinegara station in East Jakarta and Bogor station in Bogor, West Java. On maps and diagrams, the line was shown using the colour "yellow". The Jatinegara–Bogor line was the second busiest line in the KA Commuter system. Covering the distance of 69.35 kilometres, it was the longest KA Commuter line, combining the loop-line on Jatinegara–Kampung Bandan–Tanah Abang–Manggarai with Manggarai–Depok–Bogor lines.
Universitas Indonesia Station (UI) is a railway station located in Pondok Cina, Beji, Depok, West Java, Indonesia. The station is located on the eastern perimeter of University of Indonesia complex, between Pondok Cina Station and Universitas Pancasila Station. This station is one of two railway stations serving University of Indonesia along with Pondok Cina Station, about 1 kilometer to the south which is located closer to the university rectorate building.

At the beginning, this line was planned to be incorporated into a larger circular line network, ranging from Cikarang, via Jonggol to Parung Panjang. This plan had to be postponed due to the 1997 economic crisis.
