The Shire of Plantagenet is a local government area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, managed from the town of Mount Barker, 360 kilometres (224 mi) south of Perth and 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Albany. The shire covers an area of 4,792 square kilometres (1,850 sq mi) and includes the communities of Narrikup, Rocky Gully, Kendenup and Porongurup.
Lake Muir is a rural locality of the Shire of Manjimup in the South West region of Western Australia. The South Western Highway forms the south-western border of the locality while the Muir Highway forms its northern one. Parts of Shannon National Park as well as most of Lake Muir National Park and all of Lake Muir and Boyndaminup National Park are located in the locality of Lake Muir.
The Shire of Nannup is a local government area in the South West region of Western Australia, approximately 280 kilometres (174 mi) south of the state capital, Perth and 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of the coastal resort town of Busselton. Its seat of government is the town of Nannup, where about half of the Shire's population reside.

Boranup is a locality in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River in the South West region of Western Australia. It is the site of a large coastal dune blow out known as the "Boranup sand patch" as part of the Boranup beach, and the site of a former M. C. Davies timber company mill. The sand patch area and sand blows affected the alignment of the Busselton to Flinders Bay railway.
Diamond Tree is a rural locality of the Shire of Manjimup in the South West region of Western Australia. The South Western Highway forms the eastern border of the locality while the Vasse Highway forms its south-eastern one. Parts of the Sir James Mitchell National Park is also located within Diamond Tree.

Cundinup is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. A small section in the far east of the locality is located in the Shire of Donnybrook–Balingup. The western boundary of the locality is formed by the Vasse Highway while, in the east, the border runs along the Blackwood River in places. Much of the locality is covered by state forest.
Barrabup is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The eastern boundary of the locality is formed by the Vasse Highway, with much of the locality being covered by state forest.
Scott River East is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia, located along the Scott River and on the Southern Ocean coast. The eastern part of the locality is covered by Hilliger National Park while a small section of the western-most part of D'Entrecasteaux National Park also extends into it. Apart from those two national parks, it is also home to a number of nature reserves. Parts of the locality are also taken up by agriculture, among them the large dairy farms of Lactanz 2 and 3, while Lactanz 1 and 4 are in the neighbouring locality of Lake Jasper. Lactanz Dairy was Western Australia's largest dairy producer when it was sold for A$30 million in 2016 to Australian Agribusiness Group.
Biddelia is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Vasse Highway runs north–south through the centre of the locality and the area west of the highway is almost completely made up of the Hilliger National Park while the Easter National Park lies along and east of the highway within Biddelia. Most of the remainder is covered by state forest.
Carlotta is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Vasse Highway runs through the centre of the locality, with the Easter National Park stretching along the east side of the highway. The south-western part of the locality is taken up by the Milyeannup National Park while the remainder is predominantly covered by state forest. Its north-western boundary is made up by the Brockman Highway and Nannup Airport is located in the north-west as well, inside the Kearney State Forest.
Darradup is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Brockman Highway runs through the centre of the locality while, to the east of it, the Milyeannup National Park makes up the south-eastern part of Darradup. The Blackwood River runs through the locality from east to west and the Blackwood River National Park stretches along it while the far northern part of Darradup is taken up by the Wiltshire-Butler National Park.
East Nannup is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Brockman Highway forms the northern boundary of the locality along its entire length. The western part of East Nannup is a mixture of farmland and forest while the eastern part is completely forested.
Peerabeelup is a rural locality of the Shire of Nannup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Vasse Highway runs through the centre of the locality from north to south, turning east towards Pemberton right at the southern boundary of the locality, while the Donnelly River flows through Peerabeelup from the east to the south-west. Along the south-eastern boundary of the locality, the Greater Beedelup National Park just stretches into Peerabeelup, as does a small section of the D'Entrecasteaux National Park on the south-western boundary. Most of the remainder of Peerabeelup is covered by state forest.

Central within the locality lies the lake of the same name while, in the south, it borders the Southern Ocean. A large part of the locality is taken up by the D'Entrecasteaux National Park; its south-eastern border runs along the Donnelly River. The north of Lake Jasper is taken up by agriculture, among them the large dairy farms of Lactanz 1 and 4, while Lactanz 2 and 3 are in the neighbouring locality of Scott River East. The south-western part of the locality is predominantly covered by the D'Entrecasteaux National Park while, in the north-east, parts of the Greater Hawke National Park are located.
Collins is a rural locality of the Shire of Manjimup in the South West region of Western Australia. The South Western Highway forms the north-eastern border of the locality while the Vasse Highway runs along its north-western one. The Warren River forms the entire eastern and southern border of Collins. Small sections of the Sir James Mitchell and Gloucester National Park are also located within the locality.
Crowea is a rural locality of the Shire of Manjimup, located near Northcliffe, in the South West region of Western Australia. The South Western Highway forms the eastern border of the locality while the Warren River forms most of its northern border. Parts of the Greater Hawke National Park, in the west, and Greater Dordagup National Park, in the east, are located in Crowea while a small section of Jane National Park penetrates into the south of the locality.
