Line 22 is a future subway line on the Shanghai Metro. It will be located in south-west Shanghai near Dachang in Baoshan District and Taopu in Putuo District. [1] The line was announced by the Municipal government in 2016. [2] [3]

Line 14 of the Shanghai Metro is an east-west metro line opened on 30 December 2021. The line, consisting of 31 stations, starts from Fengbang town in Jiading District, and terminate in Jinqiao town in Pudong New Area via Zhenru, Jing'an Temple, Dashijie, and Lujiazui. Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro is a north-south metro line in the city of Shanghai that opened on 23 January 2021. The line begins at Gucun Park in Baoshan District at its northern end, and terminates at Zizhu Hi-tech Park in Minhang District at its southern end, via Shanghai West Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station. It will be 42.3 kilometres (26.3 mi) in length and have 30 stations. The line is one of Shanghai Metro's new batch of high capacity fully automated and driverless lines along with Lines 14 and 18. The line is colored ivory on system maps.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Line 18 (Shanghai Metro)</span> Metro line in Shanghai

Line 18 is a north–south Shanghai Metro line running from South Changjiang Road station in the city's Baoshan District to Hangtou station in Pudong, with a length of 36.13 km (22.45 mi). The line was originally scheduled to open by the end of 2020. However, officials announced that only the initial segment of eight stations in Pudong started test runs in September 2020. The 14.5 km (9.0 mi) southern section opened for passenger operations on December 26, 2020. The remainder of the line was opened on 30 December 2021. The line is 36.5 km (22.7 mi) long with 26 stations. The line is one of Shanghai Metro's new batch of high capacity fully automated and driverless lines along with Lines 14 and 15. The line is colored medium light shade of brown on system maps.

The Chongming line is a rapid transit line on the Shanghai Metro that is part of the 2018–2023 Shanghai Metro plan. The Chongming line was previously treated as the last phase of Line 9, and was Line 19 until 2016, when it was renamed the Chongming line.

Line 21 will be a future subway line on the Shanghai Metro. It will run in a north–south direction through Pudong, connecting Gaohang in Waigaoqiao to the Disney Resort. The first phase will be about 28 km (17 mi) long with 10 stations. Stations will have passing loops to allow for express and local stopping patterns.

Nanchang Metro, officially Nanchang Rail Transit, is a rapid transit system in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. As of 2021, four lines are operational. Line 20 will be a future subway line on the Shanghai Metro. It will run in an east–west direction in northern Shanghai, connecting Shanghai West railway station in Jiading District to Gongqing Forest Park in Yangpu District, with a possible future extension to Zhouhai Road in northern Pudong. Line 24 will be a future subway line on the Shanghai Metro. The line was announced by the Municipal government in 2016. It will run in a north–south direction through Pudong and connect the Huangpu River bank in Yangpu District with the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. It will form a ring around the Middle Ring Road together with Line 20 and Line 22.

Line 23 is an under construction Shanghai Metro line that would run from Shanghai Indoor Stadium in Xuhui District to Minhang Development Zone in Minhang District. Its It is planned to be 29 kilometres (18 mi) in length, and is planned to have 22 stations. The line was announced by the Shanghai municipal government in 2016. It will adopt unmanned driving (GoA4).

Line 19 is an under construction subway line on the Shanghai Metro. Its termini are planned to be Baoshan Railway Station and Hongjian Road. It is planned to be 46.2 km (28.7 mi) in length, with 34 stations. The line hopes to ease car congestion along Pudong South Road, as well as reduce crowding on the southern part of line 8, and the northern sections of lines 1 and 3.

The Hongqiao comprehensive transportation hub is a major intermodal passenger transport hub situated in the western suburb district of Changning and Minhang of Shanghai. The hub consists of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, the intercity high-speed Shanghai Hongqiao railway station, three metro lines, buses, taxicabs and an reserved maglev station for future uses. Hongqiao hub is the first of its kind in China and the model has been followed by various other Chinese cities, including Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, formerly named Zhengli Road, is a metro station as part of Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Zhengli Road and Wuchuan Road in Yangpu District, Shanghai, the station opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 on December 30, 2021. It is located near the main campus of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. During the planning stage of Line 18, the station was also known as Wuchuan Road.

Yingao Road is a metro station on Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Yingao Road and North Guoquan Road along the boundary of Baoshan District with Yangpu District in the city of Shanghai, the station was opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 on December 30, 2021. During the planning stage of Line 18, the station was known as North Guoquan Road.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">West Huajing station</span> Metro station in Shanghai, China

West Huajing is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located along an unbuilt section of Jinghong Road near its intersection with an unbuilt section of Huaji Road and straddling the boundary between Minhang and Xuhui districts in the city of Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 in 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement. Half-Trains terminated here and trains would have to switch tracks to return to northbound track towards Gucun Park, until the south terminal station of short-route trains was extended to Shuangbai Road station.

Jinqiu Road is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Qilianshan Road and Jinqiu Road in Putuo District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 by the end of 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement. It is located in between Gucun Park station to the north and Fengxiang Road station to the south.

The Hangzhou–Haining Intercity Rail, also known as the Hanghai line, is a line connected to, but operated independently of the Hangzhou Metro that connects the cities Hangzhou and Haining in Zhejiang, China. The total length is 48.18 km (29.94 mi) and has 13 stations, including 5 underground stations and 8 elevated stations and number of stations with passing loops for express services. The line began construction in late 2016 and opened on 28 June 2021.

Line 26 is a future subway line on the Shanghai Metro. The line was announced by the Municipal government in 2016. It will run in a loop and be Shanghai Metro's second loop line.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Line 22 (Shenzhen Metro)</span> Future Shenzhen Metro line

Line 22 of the Shenzhen Metro is an express line under planning, which will connect the districts of Futian and Longhua for 38 kilometers and 23 stations. Construction is planned to begin in 2023. The first phase of Line 22 has entered Phase V planning, and will run from Shangsha in Futian District to Liguang in Longhua District, with 21 stations and 34.2 kilometers of track. The line is proposed to use 8 car type A trains. It is proposed to extend into Dongguan in long term planning.

Line 29 of the Shenzhen Metro is a line under planning, which will connect the districts of Nanshan, Bao'an and Guangming for 30.6 kilometers and 24 stations. Construction is planned to begin in 2023. The first phase of Line 29 has entered Phase V planning, and will run from Hongshuwan South in Nanshan District to Xingdong in Bao'an District, with 10 stations and 11.3 kilometers of track. The line is proposed to use 6 car type B trains.

Line 32 of the Shenzhen Metro is a line under planning, which will run entirely in Dapeng New District from Xichong at the terminus of Line 8 to the town of Kuichong for approximately 9.5 kilometers. Construction is planned to begin in 2023.
