This is a list of the divers who will be participating at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan from 25 July to 7 August 2021. 147 divers are set to compete in the Games across 8 events. [1] [2]
The men's 3 metre springboard, also reported as springboard diving, was one of four diving events on the Diving at the 1964 Summer Olympics program.
The women's 10 metre platform, also reported as high diving, was one of four diving events on the Diving at the 1964 Summer Olympics programme.
Zhou Jihong is a Chinese diver who represented China at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Craig Challen, SC is an Australian technical diver and cave explorer who played a substantial role in the Tham Luang cave rescue. He was the recipient of the Oztek 2009 Diver of the Year award for his services to caving, and was joint winner of the 2019 Australian of the Year.

Vincent Riendeau is a Canadian elite diver. He won a silver medal at the 2015 FINA World Championships in the 10 m mixed synchro event and a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in the 10 m synchro event. He competed at several World Cups and Grand Prix events.
Richard William Stanton, is a British civilian cave diver who specialises in rescues through the Cave Rescue Organisation and the British Cave Rescue Council. He has been called "one of the world's most accomplished cave-divers", "the face of British cave diving," and "the best cave diver in Europe". Stanton has lived in Coventry for many years, and was formerly a firefighter with the West Midlands Fire Service for 25 years prior to his retirement. In 2018 he played a leading role in the Tham Luang cave rescue and was awarded the George Medal in the Civilian Gallantry List.
Malaysia competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Anton Down-Jenkins is a New Zealand Olympic diver who competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The diving competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris were held from 27 July to 10 August 2024 at the Paris Aquatics Centre. A total of 136 divers, with an equal distribution between men and women, competed across eight medal events at these Games, the same amount as Tokyo 2020.
