MTV Films is the motion picture production arm of the American cable television channel MTV. Founded in 1996, it has produced films based on MTV programs such as Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and Jackass: The Movie , as well as other adaptations and original projects such as Napoleon Dynamite . Its films are released by fellow ViacomCBS division Paramount Pictures. On August 21, 2006, Nickelodeon Movies, Comedy Central Films, and MTV Films became full labels of the Paramount Motion Pictures Group. By 2017, Paramount Players was created as a joint venture with MTV Films, Nickelodeon Movies, BET Films, VH1 Films, and Comedy Central Films. It currently has 40 films with four direct-to-video titles.[ citation needed ]

Nickelodeon Movies is a theatrical motion picture production division for the American children's network Nickelodeon, which releases both animated and live action films. The division was founded on February 25, 1995 and currently a part of the Paramount Players arm of Paramount Pictures, itself owned by ViacomCBS and ultimately the holding company National Amusements. The company released its first film Harriet the Spy in 1996 which was in live action and its first animated film The Rugrats Movie in 1998. The studio's highest-grossing films are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), which grossed $493.3 million worldwide, The Adventures of Tintin (2011), which grossed $374 million worldwide, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), which grossed $325.2 million worldwide. The company has so far produced over 33 theatrical feature films in total. Their next film, PAW Patrol: The Movie, based on the Nick Jr. series of the same name, will be released on August 20, 2021.

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is an American animation studio owned by ViacomCBS. It has created many original television programs for Nickelodeon, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats and Avatar: The Last Airbender, among various others. Since the 2010s, the studio has also co-developed its own series based on preexisting IP purchased by ViacomCBS, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Winx Club. In November 2019, Nickelodeon Animation Studio signed a multiple-year output deal for Netflix, which will include producing content, in both new and preexisting IP, for the streaming platform.

Plan B Entertainment, Inc., more commonly known as Plan B, is an American production company founded in November in 2001 by Brad Grey, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. In 2005, after Pitt and Aniston divorced, Grey became the CEO of Paramount Pictures and Pitt became the sole owner of the company. The president of the company was for many years Dede Gardner, but she and Pitt named Jeremy Kleiner co-president with Gardner in 2013. Three of the production company's movies, The Departed, 12 Years a Slave and Moonlight, have won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Albie Hecht is a film and television producer and media executive. In 1997, Hecht was the president of film and TV entertainment for Nickelodeon before becoming president of the television channel Spike TV in 2003. In 2005, he founded and was CEO of the digital studio Worldwide Biggies. From 2013 to 2015, he also served as general manager of the TV channel, HLN, and currently serves as chief content officer of PocketWatch.

Point Grey Pictures, Inc. (PGP) is a Canadian independent film and television production company founded by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg in 2011. It is named after Vancouver's Point Grey Secondary School, where Rogen and Goldberg met.
