Mohamed Abdi Ware (Somali :Maxamed Cabdi Waare;born 14 February 1960) is a Somali politician. He was the president of Hirshabelle,assumed office on 16 September 2017. [1]
Waare hails from the Yabar Madaxweyne sub-clan of Xawaadle,and was born in the Jowhar,Middle Shabelle which at that time in 1960 was part of Banadir region.
Mohamed Abdi Ware received his primary education in Halgan village in Bulo-Burte District,and completed his secondary education in Hodan District in Mogadishu. He went seminar to Indiana University Bloomington in the United States in 1985 for agricultural extension officer. He was one of the students who received project exchange training opportunity from the United States to boost the country's agricultural production.
He joined the government when he graduated from Afgooye Agricultural High School in 1979. He worked for the Ministry of Agriculture for 10 years,and was the agricultural coordinator for Middle Shabelle and Hiran regions. He worked with the Red Cross for 10 years after the collapse,especially during a time of insecurity and famine in the country. He worked with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. He also worked briefly with UNDP,particularly the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) Reconstruction Project led by President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed.
According to Ware,his main tasks as president is to disarm and integrate local clan militias into the state security forces and the construction of the Cadale port and a dry port in Ferfer,Hiiraan.
During his 2018 presidential term,parliament planned his removal from office. [2] Ware resigned on 2 November 2020. [3]
Banaadir is an administrative region (gobol) in southeastern Somalia. It covers the same area as the city of Mogadishu,which serves as the capital. It is bordered to the northwest by the Shabelle river,and to the southeast by the Indian Ocean. Although by far the smallest administrative region in Somalia,it has the largest population,estimated at 1,650,227 in 2014.

The Rahanweyn,also known as the Digil and Mirifle are a major Somali clan. It is one of the major Somali clans in the Horn of Africa,with a large territory and densely populated fertile valleys of the Jubba and Shebelle rivers and the area between are mainly inhabited by settlers from the Digil and Mirifle lineages.
After two decades of violence and civil war and after the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) of Somalia captured Mogadishu and Kismayo,the TFG attempted to disarm the militias of the country in late 2006. According to the UN/World Bank's Joint Needs Assessment (JNA) coordination secretariat,"the total estimated number of militias [militia members] to be demobilized is 53,000." In 2005,they estimated that "there are 11–15,000 militia people controlling Mogadishu ."
The Hawadle are a Somali clan who traces its descent from Meyle,one of the sons of the Samaale clan. The Hawadle,as well as many other Somali clans from Samaale.
The Bimaal or Bimal, is a sub-clan of the major Dir clan family. This clan is widely known for leading a resistance against the colonials in southern Somalia for decades which can be compared to the war of the Sayyid in Somaliland. The Biimaal mainly lives in southern Somalia,the Somali region of Ethiopia,which their Gaadsen sub-clan mainly inhabits and in the NEP region of Kenya.
The Hiraab is a Somali clan of the larger Hawiye. It has produced many major clans in Somalia and has produced many prominent figures including 6 presidents,the first president as well as the first PM. They were also the first military leaders,making Hiraab the forefounder of Somalia. Members live in central and southern Somalia,from Galkayo to Kismaayo. They are also present in Ethiopia and Kenya. Most of them live in Mogadishu.
Mohamed Osman Jawari,also known as Mohamed Jawari or Osman Jawari,is a Somali attorney and politician. He is former Speaker of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. He also briefly served as acting President of Somalia in August and September 2012.
Aden Mohamed Ali is a senior Somali politician. He was the longest-serving minister in the government of Mohamed Siad Barre,in which he was Minister of Labor and Sports in 1975,Minister of Education in 1977 and Minister of Fisheries,Ports and Marine Transport in 1990. He is a member of the Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party,and became a member of the parliament from 2000–2009.
The Gaalje'el,,or Habar Tigaalle is one of the largest Somali clans,whose origins trace back to Samaale. The Galje'el clan belong to the Major Saransor clans who is also sub clan of Wider Gardhere Samaale clans. The Clan is well known for their fierce battles against the Italian colonialists who were unable to occupy their land. This clan is also known for fighting against the Abyssinians for a long time who wanted to expand in the area of the Shabelle River,one of the biggest battles was the Battle of Dafet,at that time Abyssinians want to capture Dafet,entering from Shabelle River,but Gaalje'el fought back and defeated Abyssian and pushed them back;1500 Amhara horsemen were killed in that battle.
Hirshabelle,officially Hirshabelle State of Somalia,is a Federal Member State in south-central Somalia. It is bordered by Galmudug state of Somalia to the north,South West State of Somalia and Banadir region to the south,Ethiopia to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east. Jowhar is the capital state.
Khalif Mumin Tohow was a Somali politician. Tohow served as the state Justice Minister for Hirshabelle State,an autonomous region within Somalia,until his death in April 2020. He was also a member of the Legislative Assembly of Hirshabelle State.

He was nominated on 15 June 2022,by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud,and he was endorsed by parliament on 25 June 2022. Hamza is also a parliamentarian elected to the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia on 28 December 2021,representing the Afmadow constituency of Middle Juba.
