Jiutai is one of seven districts of the prefecture-level city of Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, Northeast China. The district is surrounded by agricultural areas and is located around 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of downtown Changchun. Coal mining also is present in Jiutai. It borders Dehui to the north, Erdao District to the southwest, Kuancheng District to the west, as well as the prefecture-level city of Jilin to the south and east.
Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, formerly Huairen County, is a county under the administration of Benxi City, in eastern Liaoning province, China, bordering Jilin to the east. It is also one of 11 Manchu autonomous counties and one of 117 autonomous counties nationally. As a county, Huanren was established in 1877. It was reorganised as an autonomous county in 1989 with approval of the State Council. The county covers 3,362 square kilometres (1,298 sq mi) and has 293,505 population, and Huanren Town is its seat.

Suining County covers 2,917 km2 (1,126 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 387,800 and a permanent resident population of 356,800. The county has nine towns and eight townships under its jurisdiction, the county seat is the town of Changpu (长铺镇).

The Yunnan Ethnic Village is an ethnographic village and theme park that displays the various folklore, culture, and architecture of 26 ethnic groups in Yunnan Province, China. The park's major goal is mainly to display some aspects of Yunnan's ethnicity, cultural diversity, and heritage. Located in the southwest suburbs of Kunming next to Dianchi lake, Yunnan Ethnic Village covers an area of 89 hectares including 31 hectares of water. It is classified as a AAAA-class tourist attraction.
Dankou is a rural town in Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, Hunan, China. As of the 2015 census it had a population of 25,800 and an area of 286-square-kilometre (110 sq mi). It is surrounded by Guanxia Town of Suining County on the north, Chang'anying Town on the west, Dingping Township on the south, and Rulin Town on the easth. Because there are many bamboos and trees in the town, it is hailed as "the home of bamboo and wood" (竹木之乡).
