Magnolia Midlands is a one of three Regions make up Historic South Region of the US state of Georgia. There are 18 Counties and 7 Micropolitan Areas in Magnolia Midland Region. Magnolia Midland known for its agricultural landscape, the Magnolia Midlands region is also filled with a variety of historic, outdoors and culinary attractions. The largest city in this region is Statesboro and the largest county is Bulloch County.
Dodge County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of 2010, the population was 21,796. The county seat is Eastman. Dodge County lies in the Historic South and Black Belt region of Georgia, an area that was devoted to cotton production in the antebellum years. It has significant historic buildings and plantations, has a substantial African-American population, and shows cultural aspects of the South.
Allentown is a city in Bleckley, Laurens, Twiggs, and Wilkinson counties in the U.S. state of Georgia, primarily in Wilkinson County. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 169, down from 287 at the 2000 census. The Twiggs County portion is part of the Macon Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Laurens County portion is part of the Dublin Micropolitan Statistical Area. It crosses nearly the entire width of the state, connecting Cusseta, on the southeastern edge of Fort Benning, near Columbus to Tybee Island on the Atlantic coast near Savannah, via Buena Vista, Ellaville, Oglethorpe, Hawkinsville, Cochran, Dublin, Swainsboro, Statesboro, and Savannah.

In the U.S. state of Georgia, US 25 is as a 190.0-mile-long (305.8 km) highway that travels south to north in the eastern part of the state, near the Atlantic Ocean, serving Brunswick, Statesboro, and Augusta on its path from Brunswick to South Carolina at the Savannah River. Its routing travels through portions of Glynn, Wayne, Long, Tattnall, Evans, Bulloch, Jenkins, Burke, and Richmond counties.
U.S. Route 301 (US 301) is a 170-mile-long (270 km) U.S. Highway in the U.S. state of Georgia. It travels south-to-north from the St. Marys River south-southeast of Folkston to the Savannah River north-northeast of Sylvania, via Jesup, Ludowici, Glennville, Claxton, Statesboro, and Sylvania.
The Macon and Brunswick Railroad ran from Macon, Georgia to Brunswick, Georgia. Its construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and initially only ran from Macon to Cochran, Georgia. The 5 ft gauge line was completed and extended to the Georgia coast when it opened in its entirety in December 1869. Construction of the line stimulated the lumber industry along its path, and the founding of new towns and counties.
Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) is a public community college with its main campuses in Sandersville and Dublin, Georgia. It is part of the Technical College System of Georgia and provides education services for an eleven-county service area in central and eastern Georgia. The school's service area includes Bleckley, Dodge, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Laurens, Telfair, Warren, Washington, Wheeler, and Wilkinson counties. OFTC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.
State Route 73 (SR 73) is a 78.1-mile-long (125.7 km) state highway in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects Glennville with the South Carolina state line, via Claxton, Statesboro, Dover, and Sylvania. Except for a brief portion in the Sylvania area, it is completely concurrent with U.S. Route 301 (US 301). Its southern terminus is at US 25/US 301/SR 23/SR 57 and SR 144 in Glennville. Its northern terminus is at the South Carolina state line, east of Millhaven, where US 301 enters that state.
State Route 117 (SR 117) is a 89.4-mile-long (143.9 km) state highway that runs southeast-to-northwest in an upside down question mark around McRae. It travels through portions of Telfair, Dodge, and Laurens counties in the central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects Lumber City with the Dublin, Georgia, micropolitan area, via Jacksonville and Eastman.
Empire is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Dodge and Bleckley counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the CDP had a population of 319.
McRae–Helena is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia, formed on January 1, 2015, by the merger of the two cities of McRae and Helena. McRae–Helena is the county seat of Telfair County.

The Statesboro Pilots were a minor league baseball team based in Statesboro, Georgia. From 1952 to 1955, the Pilots played exclusively as members of the Class D level Georgia State League. The Pilots hosted minor league home games at Pilots Field.
