Aai ( transl. Hey!) is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language action masala film written and directed by A. Venkatesh. The film stars Sarathkumar in the main lead role, with Namitha as his love interest. Vadivelu, Kalabhavan Mani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Vincent Asokan plays supporting roles. The film released on 17 December 2004 and became a hit.

The Nadigar Sangam, officially known as the South Indian Artistes' Association, is a union for film, television, and stage actors in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, based in Chennai. Formed in 1952, the group has a charitable trust fund to provide pensions to retired actors, voice support for actors caught in controversy, and have collectively protested socio-political issues.

<i>Natpukkaga</i> 1998 Indian film

Natpukkaga is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring R. Sarathkumar in dual roles as a father and son, Simran, Vijayakumar and Sujatha. It became a blockbuster upon release. The film won two Filmfare Awards South and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, both ceremonies conferring Best Film and Best Actor (Sarathkumar). It was remade in Telugu by Ravikumar as Sneham Kosam (1999) and in Kannada as Diggajaru (2001). It is Sarath Kumar's 75th film.

Paattali (transl. Proletariat) is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar from a story by Chinni Krishna. It stars R. Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan and Devayani. The music is composed by S. A. Rajkumar. Paattali released on 17 December 1999, and became a commercial success.

Dost (transl. Friend) is a 2001 Tamil-language action-crime film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars R. Sarathkumar and Abhirami, while Raghuvaran, Prakash Raj and Indu play supporting roles. It was released on 29 June 2001.

<i>Vedan</i> 1993 Indian film

Vedan ( transl. Hunter) is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language crime action film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film stars R. Sarathkumar and Khushbu, with Charan Raj, Sarath Babu, Easwari Rao and Radha Ravi in supporting roles. It follows Inspector Vijay as he joins the gang of a notorious criminal, Bhoopathi, under an assumed identity with the sole intention of infiltrating it and also falls in love with his superior officer Ganesh's sister Usha and later witness the slaughter of Ganesh who gave him the task. How Vijay completes the mission even though Bhoopathi has begun to suspect his identity forms the crux of the story. The film was released on 6 May 1993.

Vani Rani is a 2013-2018 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired on Sun TV from 21 January 2013 to 8 December 2018 for 1743 episodes. The show starred Radikaa Sarathkumar, Venu Arvind and Babloo Prithiveeraj.

<i>Kana Kaanum Kaalangal</i> (2006 TV series) Indian TV series or programme

Kana Kaanum Kaalangal is a Tamil drama soap opera that aired in Star Vijay, Monday to Thursday, from 30 October 2006 to 28 April 2009. It was the first soap in Tamil television that focused on school life. Due to the success of the show, a sequel called Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kallooriyin Kadhai was made. Later another sequel to the serial called Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Saalai was also made. Both the sequels focused on college life. It was re-aired on Star Vijay Super from 16 January 2017, Monday through Friday at 8:00PM.
