Sangamam (transl. Confluence) is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic musical dance film co written and directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by V. Natarajan of Pyramid Films. The film stars Rahman and newcomer Vindhya, with Manivannan, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi, and Vadivelu playing supporting roles. The film's music was composed by A. R. Rahman, while S. Saravanan handled the cinematography. The film was released on 16 July 1999 and became a financial failure, but won the National Film Award for Best Lyrics (Vairamuthu) and four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.

Kusthi is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Raj Kapoor, starring Prabhu and Karthik, while Vadivelu, Manya, Flora, Vijayakumar and Radha Ravi play supporting roles. The music is composed by D. Imman. The film released on 23 June 2006 and was an average hit at the box office.

Inbaa is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by S.T. Vendan. The film stars Shaam and Sneha, with Arun Pandian in an antagonistic role. It was released on 21 March 2008. The film marks the third collaboration between Shaam and Sneha after Yai! Nee Romba Azhaga Irukey! and ABCD.

The Nadigar Sangam, officially known as the South Indian Artistes' Association, is a union for film, television, and stage actors in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, based in Chennai. Formed in 1952, the group has a charitable trust fund to provide pensions to retired actors, voice support for actors caught in controversy, and have collectively protested socio-political issues.

<i>Natpukkaga</i> 1998 Indian film

Natpukkaga is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring R. Sarathkumar in dual roles as a father and son, Simran, Vijayakumar and Sujatha. It became a blockbuster upon release. The film won two Filmfare Awards South and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, both ceremonies conferring Best Film and Best Actor (Sarathkumar). It was remade in Telugu by Ravikumar as Sneham Kosam (1999) and in Kannada as Diggajaru (2001). It is Sarath Kumar's 75th film.

Paattali (transl. Proletariat) is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar from a story by Chinni Krishna. It stars R. Sarathkumar in the main lead role alongside Ramya Krishnan and Devayani. The music is composed by S. A. Rajkumar. Paattali released on 17 December 1999, and became a commercial success.

Odu Raja Odu is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film directed by duo Nishanth Ravindaran and Jathin Sanker Raj in their directorial debuts. Nishanth Ravindaran has also written the screenplay and handled editing. The film stars Simran and Guru Somasundaram alongside Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, while Anandsami, Nassar, Charu Hassan, Power Star Srinivasan, Venkatesh Harinathan, and Sona Heiden play pivotal and supportive roles in the film. The film also marks the comeback of veteran actress Simran in a cameo role and also marks the acting debut of her, husband Deepak Bagga who played the antagonist role. The movie is produced and distributed by Vijay Moolan through his production company Vijay Moolan Talkies. The music is scored by debutant Tosh Nanda. The film had its theatrical release on 17 August 2018.
