USA Today All-USA High School Basketball Team

Each year, USA Today , an American newspaper, awards outstanding high school basketball players with a place on its male and female All-USA high school basketball teams. The newspaper names athletes whom it believes to be the best basketball players from high schools around the United States. In addition, one member of each team is named, respectively, the male or female USA TodayHigh School Basketball Player of the Year. The newspaper names two teams, one for male athletes and one for female athletes. The newspaper has named a team every year since 1983. Each year, the newspaper also selects a USA TodayHigh School Boys' Basketball Coach of the Year and a USA TodayHigh School Girls' Basketball Coach of the Year. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Raef Andrew LaFrentz is an American former professional basketball power forward and center who played for the Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The school was established in 2012 following the closure of St. Patrick High School Academy, which was a co-educational four-year Catholic high school in Elizabeth, New Jersey, that operated under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark and had been founded as a vocational school in 1863 as part of Saint Patrick's Parish in Elizabeth, making it the oldest parochial high school in New Jersey. The Patrick School originally operated on the site in Elizabeth that had been St. Patrick High School and the school has continued to carry on the legacy of its predecessor even after its move to Hillside.

The Aggies, who last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2022, are one of 34 college basketball teams with multiple NBA retired jerseys from former players and a team that reached the NCAA Final Four. Then, he played with 5 different teams over the course of 4 more NBA seasons. LaVell DeAaron Blanchard is an expatriate American professional basketball player who most recently played for the 9 de Julio de Río Tercero of the Liga Nacional de Básquet. He has previously played in several leagues in Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine. He was a four-time All-Big Ten Conference performer and 2000 Big Ten Freshman of the Year for the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team. Matthew Dickey is an American basketball player who is best known for his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. A 6'1" point guard, Dickey guided the Bulldogs to consecutive NCAA Tournament berths in 2011 and 2012. As a senior in 2011–12 he was named the Big South Conference's Player of the Year; he led the team with a 16.1 points per game average en route to conference regular season and conference tournament championships. UNC Asheville set a school record with 24 wins that year.
