Asianet Satellite Communications Private Limited, is an Indian multi system operator (MSO). [1] It is the largest cable network services company in Kerala since its inception in 1993. [2] It is a market leader in South India, it is ranked among the top 20 internet service providers (ISP) in India by TRAI. It is also one of the fastest growing ISPs in India. [3] Earlier Asianet Satellite Communications is the sister concern of Asianet Channel from time being 1993 to 2013. Now the flagship Asianet channel is run by Disney Star along with their sister channels Asianet Plus, Asianet Movies, and Asianet Middle East (including their HD feeds).

Asianet Broadband, a division of Asianet Satellite Communications Pvt. Ltd. is an Internet service provider. It has set up its own international satellite gateways at Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. It is also one of the earliest cable ISP services that have presence in Kerala. Asianet Digital Network Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Asianet Satellite Communications Pvt. Ltd. is a digital television networks in India. Asianet Digital Network expanded its services to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Asianet Broadband Earlier Asianet Satellite Communications is the sister concern of Asianet Channel from time being 1993 to 2013. Now Asianet channel is run by Star India also the sister channels too Asianet Plus, Asianet Movies, Asianet Middle East and their HD Feeds also.

Asianet Mobile TV+

Asianet Mobile TV + is the over-the-top media service segment of Asianet Satellite Communications. [4] A S C L partnered with Xperio Labs to develop the service in 2015. [5] Asianet is the first MSO in India to launch an OTT service. [6] The company is currently headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. [7]

As of 2007, the company had a 51% stake in Bhupendran Bhaskar Multinet and a 50% stake in Gujarat Telelinks Pvt Ltd (GTPL). Thiruvananthapuram has long been a center of media. Kerala Chandrika, the first newspaper of the state, was published from Thiruvananthapuram in 1789. The media also enjoyed the patronage of the Travancore kings. In 1836, Swathi Thirunal, the Travancore king, organized a government press in the city. The first Superintendent of the Press was the Rev. Sperschneider. The press was under Samathanam Maistry, one of the first batch of workmen trained in the Nagercoil Press.
