National Highway 77 (NH 77) is a National Highway in India. [1] This is the main National Highway to connect Pondicherry with Krishnagiri. It starts from Tindivanam in Villupuram district then runs westward till Uthangarai via Thiruvannamalai and then joins NH 48 at Krishnagiri. NH-77 runs entirely in the state of Tamil Nadu. [2]

Krishnagiri district is one of the 38 districts of the state of Tamil Nadu, in India. This district is carved out from Dharmapuri District by 2004. The municipal town of Krishnagiri is the district headquarters. National Highway 66 is a National Highway in India. This is the main National Highway to connect Pondicherry with Krishnagiri. It starts from Indira Gandhi Square in Pondicherry and runs north west till Tindivanam in Villupuram district then runs westward till Uthangarai via Thiruvannamalai and then joins NH 46 at Krishnagiri. NH 46 starts from NH 7 which is at 1 km (0.62 mi) from the junction of NH 66. The total length runs to 214 km (133 mi).

National Highway 46 was a national highway in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It ran from Krishnagiri to Walajapet in the state. It passed through Vellore and it was a highly important connecting road for vehicles travelling between Chennai and Bangalore. The total Length of NH 46 was 148 km (92 mi). The Krishnagiri-Walajapet section is being upgraded to six lanes by L&T on a build-operate-transfer basis.

National Highway 40, a combination of previous national highways 4 and 18, is a national highway in India. It starts at National Highway 44 junction at Kurnool and passes through Kadapa and Chittoor and terminates at Ranipet in Tamil Nadu. It is called Rayalaseema Express Highway. The highway was transformed into four lanes between Kurnool and Kadapa.

Mathur is a town in the bargur Taluk in Krishnagiri District in Tamil Nadu, India.It is located on National Highway NH 77.It is Krishnagiri – Pondicherry Highway.It is located 30 km from Krishnagiri, 24 km from Tirupathur, and 20 km from Uthangarai. Mathur is surrounded by Kandhili Taluk towards North, Uthangarai Taluk towards South, Bargur Taluk towards North, Tirupattur taluk towards East. Mathur is one of the 10 revenue blocks in Krishnagiri District and consists of 24 panchaya.

National Highway 73 is a National Highway in India. This highway runs in the Indian state of Karnataka. It starts from sea port city of Mangaluru ( Mangalore) and ends at Tumakuru. Even though named as national highway the road is narrow and prone to landslips and falling of trees in Charmady ghat section of Western ghats. This highway was previously part of national highways 48, 234 and 206 but subsequent to rationalisation of national highway numbers of India by Gazette notification on 5 March 2010 it was changed to National Highway 73.

National Highway 317 is a National Highway in India. This highway runs entirely in the state of West Bengal. It is a secondary route of National Highway 17. This route was earlier part of old national highway 31C. Birpara to Hasimara stretch of this national highway is part of Asian Highway 48.

National Highway 717 is a national highway in India. This highway runs entirely in the state of West Bengal. It is a secondary route of National Highway 17. Prior to renumbering of national highways in 2010, the stretch between Chalsa and Mainaguri was part of old national highway 31. By a gazette notification on 27 December 2013, NH-717 route was extended from Mainaguri to land border crossing of India/Bangladesh border near Changrabandha. Mainaguri to Changrabandha stretch of this route is part of Asian Highway 48.
